Stopped in here yesterday, as is our tradition when we visit Monterey. My son tried the house burrito and loved it. My daughter had three tacos and said they were tasty. I had the blackened shrimp tostada, which was pretty much perfect. The service is always fast and friendly, and there's always an energy vibe to the place. It's always busy, and everyone is very friendly. We got our order to go and drove a few minutes to the beach at Asilomar so we could enjoy the sunset while we ate. Great place, reasonably priced, fast service, tasty food.

This long standing family run restaurant caters to just about everyone, with everything from authentic Mexican fare to a wonderful blackened chicken sandwich with fries. The food is made to order, fresh, high quality and a great value. Service is fast, friendly and efficient. Take Out is easy and nice to try as well.
This is my first time trying this place and I was disappointed with their tacos.. who puts lettuce on a taco!!?? Where is the cilantro and onion??? Pinche lettuce!! But overall clean place and employees are nice
