The waitress was so impatient, with a menu so overwhelming and condensed, we just needed some help navigating it... ended up ordering the first thing that came up, too pricey, just average food...

Great place for breakfast. The pancakes and eggs delicious. Cheese blintzes were tasty as well. I was stealing bites of it from my partner.

The food was really good. We ordered kid size meals and a few omelets and pancakes. We were all happy with our food. The service was good too. My daughter ordered the wrong dish; she thought she was getting potatoes. When we realized it didn't include potatoes, the waitress brought over a dish of potatoes, on the house. What has been consistently bad is their coffee, it is just so weak. This is the third time we go back because of the food, hoping the coffee will improve. We did not get a refill and we had to go to a Starbucks after we left.

I walk by or gone by this place many times. Finally went to it. Loved it, very casual. Great service. Excellent food. Great prices and it was beautiful out , so I sat outside. I had an omelette, potatoes and English muffin. I will be back.Wheelchair accessibility: Park out on the street. There's lots of parking in Pacific Grove on lighthouse

We have been frequenting Toasties for many years because the food is generally good, however the waitress that works there is so rude that this morning we got up and walked out before ordering. We were seated for at least 10 min and still hadn't been asked it we wanted something to drink although she had walked by and flung silverware on the table. During that time she was at the counter reading or looking at her phone. The restaurant not busy. Nearly every time we have been there in the last few years she has been just plane rude. I've always tipped her well hoping she would find a way to be pleasant the next time, to no avail? We won't be going back until we see that she isn't working. The other servers are great. Too bad, we like the place and the food.

Really loved Toasties. Feels like a hometown place where locals go for great food and friendly staff. Greeted when we came in. If you're looking to be doted on this isn't your place. Staff is nice and efficient. Go for the food! On the main street, outside and inside seating and menu with plenty to choose from. We had the Chicken Tostado Salad and Crab Melt! YUM!!!! Highly recommend and supports local business.

This is my second visit to this nice, friendly, and generally pleasant café. My first was about eight years ago. I was hoping to have the same breakfast that I had the first time, specifically, the corned beef hash plate. Well, I managed to get it. But something has changed a bit. There was very little corn beef in the hash. It was tasty, but the bits of corn beef were nearly microscopic, and it certainly didn't warrant the name "corned beef hash." It was merely hash with a bit of corned beef. It was topped by two good poached eggs, but my companion and I both ordered the plates with tomatoes instead of potatoes; we got potatoes. Tomatoes were brought out as an afterthought. Also, I ordered sourdough toast with my plate, and I got a (quite good) English muffin. Likewise, one of our party requested coffee with cream, and the cream took quite a while to get there. Everything was good, but the service was distinctly lacking. I hope that this part was a one-time thing, and I hope that they can reestablish the previous glory of their corn beef hash. All of the other meals served at our table seemed to be pretty good. I will go back when I can, and I do hope that it will meet my original expectation.

A cozy place. I had breakfast and the wife had lunch. My Spanish omelette was big and tasty. I asked for my potatoes to be well done and the were. Good job. Next time I'm in the area I will be back. Friendly staff. Big portions.Parking: Doesn't have it's own parking lot. I parked a short block away. Worth the walk. Good food.

Our go-to weekend breakfast spot. We've been going there for years. We have tried others but keep returning to toasties. Great food, friendly service, and the best prices in the area.

Love the food and atmosphere. Staff are friendly and attentive, restaurant is clean and their bacon is the best! Came for breakfast two days in a row and we will be back!

Absolutely terrible experience. Was a solo breakfast diner (and I'm a local) - came in for my birthday breakfast. No one at the door to greet me (place was SUPER slow). Hostess/server finally spotted me and showed me to a table in a corner - just plopped the menu on the table. Not friendly-no offer for water or coffee. Male server finally brought over some coffee and I ordered the house made corned beef, potatoes and toast. Presentation was blah but most of all the dish was extremely salty. Worst corned beef I've ever tasted! Ambiance was so depressing. Place needs a new look - it was dark, old and disappointing. Will not be back - I should have gone to my usual place, First Awakenings - so much better all around.
