Ugh, I really, really wanted to like L'Olivo Palm Springs especially because I was so happy to be in Palm Springs with my dining companion in the first place. My wife and I enjoyed a pleasant meal on the patio just a bit below sidewalk level on North Palm Canyon Drive. Our waitress Hannah was friendly and pleasant and the service reasonable, but not brisk. None of the inside dining tables had patrons, only those on the patio. We each had a glass of red wine, me the Chianti and my wife the Zin. Decent Italian food in palm springs. Came on new years, and the staff was all very friendly but felt a bit new. Food came a bit slow, but it was new years so I'll give a pass on that, it looks like they do a LOT of takeout as well.Had vodka rose with fettuccine, bruschetta and scampi ravioli.
