After a day at the pool partying in our rental Mid-Century, we needed food - bad! Pizza delivery was on the "preferred choice" list, but it had to be good pizza (maybe some pasta and salads too?) After searching Yelp for a bit, Venezia seemed to be the place. Good pizza? Um, how about GREAT pizza! I think I liked it better than the other popular pizza joint in town that doesn't deliver... 5 stars, I'll be back!

Great local establishment. Very authentic regional Italian. Super friendly service and delicious, unpretentious food. Highly recommend.

Mossimo is the best! Coming from a NY Italian food snob, this place is legit! Fantastic food, excellent pizza, better people. A must when in PS.

I rarely do reviews, but in today's market where service is hit or miss - mostly a miss due to staffing shortage or availability, I feel the good ones need reviews to support their small business. We stayed at a local hotel and walked over to Venezia because it was just about a mile away and the reviews sounded promising. We were promptly greeted and seated. They were busy and appeared to have a moderate amount of regulars. Not only did the hostess and servers, but also maybe the manager stopped frequent to visit and check with patrons to welcome and check on service. The food was outstanding! We had clams and mussels for appetizer, eggplant parmesan, spaghetti with arrabbiata and meatballs, and pistachio ice cream for dessert. We can't wait to come back, this place is worth the 50+ mile drive. Must try if in Palm Springs area!

Mediocre, over priced food for the portion size. Poor service. No bread with dinner. No drink refills without waving down a waiter for 5 minutes. Beer spilled on the table. Skip this place.

Tried this restaurant by chance without looking at reviews while in town attending a family gathering and pleasantly surprised. Nice atmosphere with excellent staff. The salads were big, fresh and well prepared. The table had combination of pasta and fish dishes and all were top notch. Highly recommended and worth a visit.

It’s a wonderful place. It’s pricey but really pleasant and not a lot of people. Waiters are professional. It’s has a big bar. We were really surprised and feel nice in this place

I ordered from here last night and I didn't enjoy the food very much. The pizza was undercooked and sloppy but in addition, it tasted like someone spilt an entire salt shaker on top. The romaine in the Caesar had some red marking, indicating that it wasn't fresh, and they provided very limited dressing so it was nearly dry. The meatballs were poor consistency. They seemed to be all pork and the quality was low, whatever the case, they were not my ideal meatballs and I couldn't eat them, they went in the trash... The sauce was pretty good, that was the only saving grace. I think those three simple items are a fair indication of a Italian restaurant's quality, and for each one to fall short, tells the story. The pizza options are really strange. I ended up getting the four cheese to be on the safe side, but to my surprise, the cheese pie was bad... Apparently, the fourth cheese is straight salt.

1st time here. Excellent lasagna with homemade pasta and sauce plus a pretty good pizza too. Really friendly staff...along with the owner and his wife making the rounds to all the tables. Made us really feel welcome. This place is on our list to go again.

If you're looking for a nice restaurant for a date or eating out with family, this is the perfect Italian spot for authentic Italian dishes. The food is delicious and the service is was quick. We had the delicious lobster ravioli, cheese pizza and a few other dishes. We were so overwhelmed with the amazing flavors of each dish and the service was great too!

This is the Real Deal: authentic, fantastic Italian food. Relaxed atmosphere, white table cloths, welcoming owners and waiters. It’s our new go to in Palm Springs. Can’t recommend it enough!

So, I'm from New York City where the Italian Pallet is "just so" I'm half Italian and learned both Northern and Sicilian cooking from my aunts. So I have a certain standard. Massimo, the owner... he's lovely and he means well. I will say he probably doesn't have the chef he wants to have right now, but if you keep it simple (or stick to the pizza) it's just fine. We discovered the place searching for decent Pizza when we were living in La Quinta (where there is none... trust me) and we'd drive to PS to pick it up. (that's about 20 min). One night... after we found the place we'd move to in PS we decided to sit down. I think it was like a Wednesday. Our server was attentive in the nearly empty space and soon was replaced by Massimo. Now being "of a standard" my wife (who is also half Italian) and I order our base standard dinner. (kind of like trying the vanilla in a place that has 1000 flavors custom made... if they don't do vanilla right, the others are not worth the try). Mine is spaghetti and meatballs and hers is eggplant parm. The verdict? spaghetti was cooked properly. Sauce was properly done (not over done or over spiced, which is our complaint nearly everywhere else in the valley) and meatballs were tasty enough. You'll note I'm not raving. As I said... I think Massimo imagines another level of quality that he might not be able to afford right now, but I do think he intends it all to be made with love and thoughtfulness. The Eggplant parm was made "properly" as my wife said... ( meaning the eggplant was thinly sliced and not over breaded not overly mushy but not frisbee style...), but I watched her pick it apart as she ate it... I should be giving three stars because the food was "okay", but the level of standard was iffy as the salad was more like an afterthought (ice berg that had been sitting and too many black olives and cheese nobody wants etc..) and the disparity from what Massimo thinks he's serving and what he actually serves made the food seem lackluster. In fact... it made us kind of disappointed when we hadn't had super high hopes walking in, as the atmosphere kind of says "casual pizza place". It should be better. The owner's enthusiasm makes him deserve better. So I would say... stick to the pizza. The fourth star is for the pizza. Get the pizza.
