Had a coffee meeting with a couple of business colleagues and really enjoyed the coffee and the great pastries. The surroundings were a bit spartan and functional, but we still ended up spending a long time there. The Cafe Venetia is on University Avenue in Palo Alto and thus a very convenient place for meeting people. I am a coffee snob, there, I said it. This place is by far my favorite coffee place in the north bay. They are professionals, accurate and care for each cup they make. As far as I could tell, all Italians, but I'm not sure. Whomever works there, every time I've been there, was fantastic. Highly recommended for coffee lovers and bonus, it's a comfortable place to come and sit with your laptop.
