Great food!!! Love their fare, some of the very best in L.A. period.however… giving out 1 tiny container of pico & one tiny container of red salsa for 1lb of carnitas is just cruel. Ran out of salsa after two tacos. WTh?!! Having great food w no salsa is torture ????♂️Please pay attention to your salsa portions on to go orders. Will still come back tho. Your food is ????????????????????????The -1 star is cause of the lack of salsa.
After much research I knew that this taco stand was one I had to try during my short trip to LA. I was fortunate to get a close parking spot but I came around 10:45 to do so. The truck located outside of the location where it is cooked was a very cool experience. Customer service was great as everyone was kind and accommodating. If you're looking for carnitas, this is one of the best places to eat. The famous boyle heights stand now has an addition here in the valley.The carnitas are fresh and savory. The burrito is tasty, but can use some work in the tortilla department.There's even a bar here if you're feeling thirsty.
