I went in late afternoon and there was still a pallet filled to the BRIM with fresh Dungeness. I picked 2 monsters which were on sale for $8.99! Say WHAAAT!?

I ordered online for pickup several days later. The order was not ready when I came. The staff had to look for the items I ordered, it took them quite a while to get it together. Then they wanted to give me about half of what I ordered for the same price saying based on what I paid I should get less than what I ordered. I don't know if the prices online are different from in store pricing or if they were uninformed or trying to screw me over. I convinced them to give me what I ordered but it's an unpleasant experience. Also note that you pay for the packaging material, they don't subtract the container weight. So if you pay 40 Dollars a pound for tuna you also pay the same high rate for the bag it's in. And they charged sales tax. There's no sales tax on groceries in California. For prepared food yes but my entire order was uncooked so it was incorrect and I wonder what really happens with that extra money they charge. The fish was good but not remarkable enough to compensate for the poor service and fishy business practices.

You ready? When I'm cooking dinner for friends and don't want the meal to Flounder, I go to Anna's Seafood for impeccably fresh fish and shellfish. When I'm feeling Crabby and not wanting to cook, I grab something yummy from their house-prepared selection, like chowder or crab cakes and pair it with a good glass of Sonoma County wine. Anna's Tsunami-sized seafood selection anchors my home-made Paella, Bouillabaisse, Seafood Fettuccini and Cioppino. I don't have to search the Seven Seas when I'm craving hard-to-find delicacies, like calamari steaks which I prepare using Alioto's recipe, sashimi grade abalone or scallops with the roe intact. Okay, okay I'll stop the puns ;-) I get the e-newsletter so I know what is on special, order online and take advantage of their ample parking to run in and grab my order. The staff is friendly and eager to help and the quality - value ratio is unparalleled.

Love this little gem! I don't know how I've never gone to this place before. I've lived in Sonoma county nearly my whole life and this was my first time here. I am a sushi fiend and anyone who loves sushi knows how pricey it can get. Thank goodness I found Anna's Seafood because they carry good quality, sushi-grade fish. Sushi-grade fish means that it has undergone a flash freezing process which safely kills all parasites in the fish, thus, making the fish safer to eat raw. I got salmon, salmon belly, and ikura. I was SO happy to find that the fish was so fresh that it didn't have a fishy smell (albeit to popular belief, fresh fish shouldn't actually smell fishy). I will definitely be going to often!

Everything I've ever had from Anna's has been super fresh, high quality and delicious. Love the convenience of home delivery too!

The BEST seafood. Man, where do I start? We love getting tuna here to make tuna poke. It's so fresh and tender. I also got their clam chowder, which tasted better than boudins (whoops, did I jus let type that??). Their cioppino was also delicious, but required a bit of chicken broth to make the soup thinner. It had a huge chunk of crab and big pieces of shrimp. I also got the wasabi tuna salad and it tasted amazing between two slices of toasted bread. Can't wait to try more from here!
This place is Amazing! New to Petaluma, I've heard local friends rave about this place for years. I am an absolute seafood snob. I am super critical about quality. I am an avid fisherman who also fishes commercially and knows and appreciated freshness. This place checks most boxes for quality and value. Anna's is my absolute go to place for oysters right up there with going to the actual farms in Tomales Bay. They have a great selection of fresh fish along with a host of frozen items. Super clean with no unpleasant smells. The only thing I did not like from them so far is their Cioppino. Again, I am a very critical of seafood and I believe my Cioppino is the best (It really is!...), but I could not finish theirs. Salty with a bitter taste. Date was fine, and it looked great with all sorts of seafood and crab, just wasn't good. They even have local grass fed beef and Wagyu! They keep Convenient hours and are very knowledgeable. I definitely recommend you give them a try!

We have been going up to the Larkspur Farmers Market on Saturday for over 6 years. It is our routine and it always includes a stop at Anna's Seafood. We watched as Anna's children grew up and enjoyed chatting with her. Once in a while, we also make the trip up to the store in Petaluma. It would be impossible to add it all up, but we have easily spent well over $15,000 on your seafood. We are looking for high-quality, sushi-grade fish. It's great for guests and we brag about its quality Anna's delivers almost every time. Except on Saturday, the 20th, we went up to Larkspur and I bought a whole salmon filet to make lox at home. There was some confusion at the cash register but ultimately we paid for clam chowder and the filet. The total bill was $118. It seemed like a lot. When I got home the filet weighed 2.2 pounds on our food scale which was a pound less than we were charged. What is worse, is that the filet looked like it had been hacked from the fish with rough cuts and gouges. More importantly, it was spoiled and smelled very bad. It was supposed to be sushi-grade and I bought it for my birthday party. So that we could bring it back, we put it in the freezer. The next week my husband brought it back. But the cashier would not refund it -- even though my husband was buying much more fish than the cost of the spoiled filet. The cashier said, "This isn't our fish." However, we brought it back in the same plastic shopping bag. Obviously, after all these years, we wouldn't suddenly decide to return our purchase for no reason. Being turned down, as if we were trying to pass off someone else's fish made no sense. We've written Anna's twice and tried to get them to return our calls. No luck.

I reside in Novato, CA and we have Farmer's Market on Tuesday afternoon and evening at the West end of the Lucky shopping center. Its at the parking lot behind the CVS. This is a really well run Farmers Market with many high caliber and specialty booths/stands.My very favorite booth overall is the Anna's Seafood booth. It is the main reason I go; and although there are several booths that I enjoy every time I go, Anna's seafood is always the highlight. I have never had as fresh and delicious seafood as what i get from Anna's unless I caught it myself.Raul is the main person manning the booth. He is a very kind and courteous person, and always remembers me, and knows what I love. It's the Smoked Salmon. I can't leave without taking some home. It is so PERFECTLY SMOKED, soft moist and super-delicious. It is so good that it reminds me of the smoked Salmon I had as a kid in the 60's at my grandparents home in Queens, NY; one of my favorite childhood memories. There is always something special there for any seafood lover; and Raul will answer all of your questions, and can even suggest different things to try. So many great choices to pick from, and all ultra fresh and so delish ( which rhymes with fish) ! ! !... and tell him Cliff sent you ?

Awesome selection of quality seafood! Rockfish, smoked salmon & trout, live crab, a whole fridge devoted to poke & ceviche - could you ask for anything more?!
