I took my girlfriend here for a dinner date around Christmas time.The food was quite delectable and the atmosphere was nice.But customer service is a deal breaker for me and truly ruins an experience. Our waitress was on top of filling our waters consistently but otherwise she was atrocious. She didn’t make eye contact with us the entire time, said very little, could not force a smile, and was weirdly mean. In that there was nothing to provoke her negative energy. Perhaps she was just having a bad day, but it soured our experience and will prevent us from ever returning.

We live 2 miles away from the restaurant and for a variety of reasons we haven’t eaten here for over a year. We are regretting it today because we had a superb meal last night. Cucina’s reputation is well deserved because there is simply no better (mostly) Italian cuisine around. Truly, you can’t do better, no matter what you order. Don’t even think about any other Italian restaurant. We will be back very soon, and one only partially serious New Year’s resolution is to spend the next year ordering every entree..
