used to be my fav spot but sadly $15 for a medium Chicken teriyaki bowl is so expensive

First time there and it was strange, very expensive and just meh. The cashier was odd, not a hi, hello, or what can I get you. Just standing there. I said hi and when there was this odd silence I just ordered. I really wanted to try the teriyaki chicken sandwich, but the bun has sesame. So I chose the bowl. The sizes starting at 10.95 a small (this small is like child size). Selected the medium with no sesame seed. The oddness continues as he reads back the order and I guess they just say seed for everything sesame. Paid and waited. They were grilling it up fresh so it would take some time as stated. Started to really read the menu. If I wanted veggies with it, the add on price $4.50. so a medium (regular size) bowl was going up turn into $14.50 (more rice than chicken by the way). That is beyond insane for the three basic veggies that normally go in it... Pot stickers/gyozas, 10 for $10.95. This really expensive for a local business. The second employee called my order as the odd cashier was working in the back. She's really nice and friendly. Over all it was interesting to try but the sticker shock of the prices was out of control. I will head back to the family owner business I normally go to. This is a hard skip for me. Plus the odd customer service slightly added to the over all experience.

OMG....priced us out as a life-long customer. 5 entries was $85, wayyyy too expensive and to top it off, staff charges .50 for extra sauce. Crazy times!

The food is tasteful with good portions. However, their prices have gone up a lot, so I no longer come here. You end up paying almost $20 for a single meal.

I love their tofu and teriyaki sauce. Have lots of options for their tofu and it's done so well rice tastes amazing! And they have grilled jalapeños. So delicious!

I really would have liked to give a nice review and rate it with more stars for the food which was delicious however the employees are just incredibly incompetent. They have absolutely no clue of the menu nor have the capability of taking a proper order. Customer service has truly gone out the window - so sad!! Awful !! For a 1st time experience dining here

The food is delicious and has lots of flavor. I usually get the tofu & chicken combo large plate and it's enough for lunch and dinner. The plate comes with rice and salad. It is a bit on the pricier side but the portions are pretty big. Service is quick and lots of seating area if you want to eat inside. Overall good place to eat!

I love this place! They used to be located in Santa Ana until the place burned down. I used to go to eat there every week; it was my happy! I was sad that they didn't reopen a spot in Santa Ana, but I just assumed that maybe they closed for good. I can't explain to you how happy I was when I found out they were still open in Pico Rivera. The food taste exactly the same as I remembered! The rice is cooked wonderfully and the meat is nicely seasoned and still a bit juicy. Love. Chef's kiss! Please come back to SA

Decent size parking lot. Bathroom could be remodeled and cleaned up. My fries had a weird texture. Crispy outside, but mushy inside. Weird aftertaste of bad breath. Probably, the worst fries I've had. Just could not finish them, even with hot sauce and teriyaki sauce. The service was moderately fast. Nice to see that they have Mr. Pibb. My chicken teriyaki sandwich was decent. Not a huge fan of the buns as they tasted sweet. Juicy, tender chicken, with a slightly sweet teriyaki sauce. Felt like the mayo was also sweet. Not the most refreshing lettuce and tomato, but it gets the job done. Paid over $12 for this combo.

I came during the night. The lady was nice to me. Food had remarkable charred taste to what I ordered, a chicken teriyaki bowl and the french fries. If you love charred taste definitely come here! ?

The teriyaki chicken bowls are delicious however recently the bowls have gotten extremely tiny and price has been increased. Over $10 for a very small bowl. We love this place but will probably cut back on it now

Have always been a fan of Chops, but especially when they added the grilled onions option. I live out of town now, so when I was in town, I was really looking forward to eating there. However, it was disappointing. I ordered grilled onions and they came back white and crunchy. Hardly grilled. Ruined the experience.

Got the chicken and beef plate, super bomb. Comes with a salad drizzled with thousand island. A go to place for my lunch break. They even hook you up with a bottle of teriyaki and a bottle of Sriracha when you dine in. People always picking up takeout. Prices a little high but food is good.

Francisco (the boss) or deladio & the cashier with red hair refused to give me a refund for a mobile order i placed online. I showed the receipt & transaction on my bank that was posted & he still refused to refund me my money or give me the 2 combos i ordered. Now i have to call my bank and report this because i emailed the company & they said they would refund yet it’s past 1 week & still nothing. I emailed for updates and they told me to call the restaurant.Do not order online in this place if you want to have a bad time. I guess i just had bad luck. This was my favorite place to eat teriyaki chicken and their burgersAfter meeting the person that owns this place “Francisco” & seeing how he handles situations i am impressed with how little ownership people have. I didn’t want nothing for free i just want my money back for a food they refused to give me. This is stealing specially when they have no direct line i can contact for my refund
