I went here years ago and the food is very tasty. I got upsold on rice and naan, so for the 2 of us and 2 entrees and 2 apps and one beer, we were almost at a $100 after tip. I'm not sure it is worth that and I feel like I'm being taken for a ride. Maybe this is a lunch buffet place, but the dinner was high priced.

I don't know why I've taken so long to review this restaurant. I come here multiple times a week. Their food is amazing. It's consistent, it's delicious, it never disappoints. I'm Indian myself and I've eaten at a lot of Indian spots, I'm talking a lot. From fancy over priced places to hole in wall random spots. LA Indian food is pretty on point but I will confidently say Tandoor-A-India one of the best spots in all of LA. It's very good. If you're in the area, or not. GO! 10 out of 5 stars. The best. Well done!

There are not enough good things I can say about this place...quick dinner after a long day, takeout on a cold day, hangover meal - their food hits the spot every. Single. Time. I find it hard to venture from the Chicken Tikka Masala but haven't had anything I don't like from here. Best of all, their staff is always incredibly helpful and friendly. This is the kind of small business you truly love to see and support. 10/10 recommend!

If you like authentic Indian food this is the place for you. I personally order it mild just because i prefer it that way but they will make it authentically spicy if that's what you like. My favorite dish is the chicken korma with their yellow rice and some garlic naan. But every dish I've tried so far was super yummy.

This is the best Indian food in Los Angeles. I have tried so many Indian restaurants in LA, but nothing comes close to Tandoor-A-India. All of their dishes are fantastic!! I would highly recommend dining here if you never have before. Great ambience and they also do to go orders.

I ordered the butter chicken and it was bland it had no flavor at all . The garlic Nann didn’t taste like garlic all u can taste is butter and bread. Overall my experience wasn’t great.
It was one of the most tasteless Indian food experiences I've had in over 7 years in the US.Expected much better from a restaurant in Santa Monica/LA regionThe manager fleeced us into getting onion salad, saying it is very good but it was way too spicy to eat as it was peppered with red chilli powder and green chilli on the side.I ordered tandoori paneer Tikka and what I got was some chilli paneer item which was definitely not made in any tandoor.Aloo parantha was made from maida instead of atta, my friend couldn't eat it. The potato masala had no taste.All the curries were bland.We were party of 13 people and no one liked the food, except for tandoori chickenTo top it all of, the owner/manager was patronizing

We live nearby & have been here many times with top notch service every time & AUTHENTIC Indian cuisine. The tiki masala is a must. Parking isn't ideal but there is normally plenty of street parking nearby. The nicest staff & the most flavorful dishes. Give it a try

The food is good but a little oily. Service is not great. I used to frequently visit the place but the last couple of experiences have not been great and it is not the server's fault but ironically the owners. When asked that the Indian breads served are not hot, the owner responded in a rude tone that they can't serve hot as the time it takes to come to the table it will turn cold and asked us to get the roti from the kitchen which is such a silly argument. I can understand that at times it happens but the manner in which the owner responded was bad and we will not be visiting the restaurant again.

Love this place! They have been our go-to for ordering in for years. The food is on point, the selection is great, and the order is fast and accurate every time. We finally decided to go here in person and it's even better! The service is amazing. Every person is so nice and they have the perfect balance of being attentive without hovering or anything 'too much'. The food came out quickly and perfectly. We have clearly been missing out! The restaurant itself is really nicely put together and we were very comfortable in their pretty little dining room. They will always be our go-to for takeout but now that we've seen how great the dine-in experience is, we will definitely be back in person, too!
