Tanner’s is now the cafe I go to when I’m in the area. The staff are friendly and the food is great! I’ve had their coffee cake which just melts in my mouth and their banana avocado smoothie that’s irresistibly fluffy. Also my friend and I were grateful that we got 1hr of free parking by shopping with Tanner’s!However, I really wish Tanner’s utilized reusable dishes for dine in and paper dishes for dine out. I spoke about this with the barista and they were kind enough to let me know that they’ll pass my message onto the owner. I hope the owner receives it :)

This is a real Mom and Pop Cafe that is so cozy and relaxing ,, Live music once a week. Students often study there. The food is great and the seats are comfortable. Our door seating, too . And they still have delicious brewed Decaf. ? ? A real Jen of a place.

Chill vibes, delicious coffee, awesome place to sit with friends. Comfy, sunken armchairs and leather sofas make it good for relaxing; working is ok, but why work when you’re in such an awesome place?! Raspberry chai latte was hot and delicious. So many sweets and foods!

Went here and got a lobster roll and a breakfast sandwich for $43. Both sandwiches was ok, didnt like the sausage on the sandwich. Also, lobster roll was $25 and when I opened the box it was a little tiny sandwich roll. Not worth it, I've had way better for the same price. Not something I would go back for. I guess I was expecting too much. Customer service was not that great either.

I love Tanners! I come here everytime i have an airport drop off or pickup and then go for a walk at the beach. Their sprouts bagel is so delicious. The place is a great spot to hang, old school and warm. Yummy coffee too. Mars and John are the best barista and bagel team around!!

This is a pretty nice place in Culver City. Had some good coffee and sweets here. Liked the ambience and of the place....

Something about being by the beachside that just warrants passing mediocre food/drinks off to being the best local coffee spot. (It's the only one). The interior looks like a college bro bachelor pad that bought from their fraternity house. The pastries were served in cheap clamshell plastic (very wasteful it's 2023...) and I don't even want to go into the latte I ordered. Holy smokes. The worst I've had in a while. No exaggeration. Whatever you are doing, STOP. please I would rather drink Folgers. I think the milk they used was like candy corn melted flavored or something rank. I wanted to like this spot too since it is a short walk from my place but I can't. Service was good and that's the only reason it avoids 1 star.

Horrible avocado toastThe bread was burn and there is small almost nothing of avocado. $12 for a burn bread!

My friend Gigi and I come to tanners every singe morning and occasionally afternoons for bagels and vanilla lattes. It is absolute perfection. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with a delightful aroma of freshly brewed coffee lingering in the air. Jagar, one of the standout employees, exemplified exceptional customer service, ensuring a memorable experience. The morning of October 12 was particularly noteworthy, thanks to the two remarkable individuals who manned the counter. Their enthusiasm and expertise in crafting the perfect cup of coffee were truly commendable. From the moment I stepped in, it was evident that these professionals were not just making coffee; they were crafting an experience. The attention to detail in every cup was unparalleled. You can tell that their coffee is crafted with love. The diverse menu catered to various tastes, providing an array of options that satisfy the taste buds.Beyond the coffee, the cozy seating and tasteful decor created a relaxing atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for both work and leisure. The staff's passion for their craft was contagious, adding an extra layer of enjoyment to the overall visit. In conclusion, this coffee shop is not merely a place to grab a cup of coffee; it's an experience that engages the senses and leaves a lasting impression. Kudos to Jagar and the dynamic duo from October 12 for making my visit truly exceptional. I can't wait to return and savor more of the delightful offerings this establishment has to offer.Sincerely,Eloise and Gigi (Bottom row of locals wall)

Many years ago I went to the nearby beach with family and we came to check out this cafe after, and I've always remembered it fondly. Last month I went back to that beach again after years, and on my way back home I stopped by here once more. The cafe was just as pleasant as I remembered. Quiet, with a bit of an old school vibe. There's old articles on the history of the area framed up on the walls. They have books you can read while you hang out too. Cashier was friendly and upbeat. Had an iced matcha latte and a carrot cupcake. Latte was unsweetened but that was okay because the cupcake was pretty sweet. Will definitely come again on my next beach trip!
