Had lunch at their temporary location inside the Upland YMCA and it was out of this world. Attentive and quick service, too. And honestly it was really fun to eat inside the Y!

Um. I think this restaurant doesn’t exist in this location anymore HAHAHA
Empty parking lot despite it saying it’s open, we came at 7 pm on a Saturday.
Best sushi in the inland empire! We went the other day and everything was amazing. Our favorites were many of the nigiri options, especially tuna and the Leo roll, but I suspect this is a place where you really can’t go wrong.
So found this gem on accident and hands down as a sushi lover this was one of the best. I literally wanted to film the owner making the sushi rolls it was like an artist at work. Every roll we got was very fresh tasting and the flavor was amazing. This will be my Rancho stop for Sushi
OMG. This place is so amazing. Best sushi I've ever eaten. So fresh and authentic. 20 out of 10 across the board.
This place really feels like Ken's Japanese Restaurant
We enjoyed our experience! Definitely make a reservation (no walk-ins allowed), and sit at the bar so you can see the guys making the sushi. Everything is pricey, but it's a nice place. Our server was super friendly and had lots of suggestions for us. We enjoyed the sashimi bowl, but the super burrito rolls were definitely the highlight!! The toro was good and kind of melts in your mouth, but not worth the price. Rocky was definitely over-hyped and we didn't care for it at all.
Best place ever

Would recommend this place for an authentic experience! It feels like being in a home inside the restaurant. Fish is fresh from the market twice a week. The owner, wife, son and family run the restaurant. Our server was Victor who is a nephew. Customer service was exceptional and food was great. Call for reservations.

Booked a reservation for 7pm. Was told over the phone food service stops at 7:30-7:45 but we wouldn't feel rushed. We felt rushed. Multiple servers interrupted us several times. Did not feel like they cared about our experience at all, just wanted us to eat and leave. It was very awkward. To top it all off, the sushi was mediocre. Not bad at all, just nothing remarkable. Very little taste, sloppy presentation, and fell apart too easily. Generous servings though. The Gyoza appetizer was really good, definitely recommend that. Overall Ken's just didn't live up to any of my expectations.

Very friendly place with some delicious sushi. We had miso soup, edamame, eel hand roll, blue fin tuna sushi(very good), rainbow roll, caterpillar roll, and lobster roll. I really liked the lobster roll, but everything was delicious. Sodas are from a can. It’s Reservations only we didn’t have one but they were able to fit my wife and I before another party showed up.

This really lives up to its reputation as the best of Inland Empire.
Spot prawns are in season and I don’t think I’ve had spot prawns that sweet and succulent or that fresh. I don’t think I’ve had an chutoro melt in my mouth like that. Nor have I had uni as creamy and sweet as the one I’ve had today as well as the always underrated surf clam and the scallop. Of course to finish with the unagi, oroto, and a giant crab hand roll was what puts it over the top.
Thank you Leo and staff for the excellent curation and meal. This place is every bit worth enduring that searingly dull heat of the Inland Empire

My friend invited me to Ken’s Japanese Restaurant for dinner. I found out that we had to make a reservation in advance to sit in the Sushi Bar. I was deeply moved when the chef focuses on cooking every dish.

First of all, I rarely have tried any sushi restaurant that I am upset after eating. We tried 2 omakase course, and server told us it would be 50 to 100 dollars per person. Then after checking they would give us a 251 dollars check before tip. Scam!
Second, the server was no where to be found for the almost entire duration of our meal! Didn’t even bother to explain any of the dishes served.
Third! The entire restaurant environment is horrible! Plastic water cup smells of fishiness! The place is feels 30 years old! Worst omakase experience ever
