I like the fruit tarts there. There is a layer of chocolate on top of the tart crust. But it is hard to find seats during the lunch time. And it seems that the desserts are overpriced.
I never did experience a meal here at the Quail Cafe but it sure looks cool and cozy. I hope to indulge on my next visit to this magnificent location that is the Filoli Estate. 👍😎
Went to Quail Cafe in the Filoli House during the Christmas Event. The place looked magical with all of the holiday decorations and presented the food and pastries well in the glass cases. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. They were serving free hot chocolate in free mugs, which was a very nice gift, but I guess the cost of admission paid for it.
