Aky's Cafe is a local treasure. It's owned by a wonderful Persian family who have been part of the Point Richmond community for many years. We have eaten there many times. Aky greets us with such warmth, we always feel right at home. The food is delicious, lovingly prepared, and very reasonably priced. This is the kind of business that truly should be supported.
A group of us stopped in for coffee and treats and were greeted by the sweetest couple! We parked our bikes outside and some ate inside and some ate outside. All agreed that the coffee was good, they had a nice selection of creamers. Not sure if they offered Splenda sweetener. The chocolate cake, muffins and other pastries were fresh and tasty. The restaurant was clean and staff was friendly. I will go again and try their soup and sandwich which sounded yummy in description.

I love Aky's! Yummy Mediterranean food, Vegetarian food, salads, soups, breakfast, etc! You must try her Vegetable Soup! It's the best! I almost always get an extra side of Dolma to go as well as the Mezza Plate. So good! And she is the sweetest person on the earth! Her whole family is great!
