This place was shut down for a while. Never got the chance to review it before, but it would have been five stars. Came back now that it’s open again. They changed their menu, and the chicken sandwich they were so well known for is just meh now. Better than McDonalds for sure, but it used to be something really special. Different spice levels, different sauces, a KILLER slaw on the sandwich. All that is gone. The old menu was hard to read, but MAN was it good! Go back to the old menu guys. If you’re new owners, call up the old ones and pay them a day’s wage to teach you the recipe. People came to Andy’s for the chicken, not all this new so-so stuff. Customers came there for something special—this place won’t last two years if they just deliver average.

It was an okay-ish place. I think it’s a bit pricey

Had the spicy chicken burger. Really really good. I’m a person who can’t eat really spicy food but this was perfect, not way too spicy. The people there are really nice too. It’s a new restaurant please do visit them and show them support. Amazing to see another good halal(hand slaughtered zabiha) restaurant in the area.

Flavors and quality of meat is great! But the portion size vs the price was disappointing. Got a spicy chicken sandwich only for $10, and for the price the size of the chicken fillet disappointed. No doubt the great flavor, but the low value for money really had me conflicted.

Chicken needs more seasoning (double dip egg wash) and reduce the grease temp to 365 degrees, this will avoid over cooking it. ??

With a heavy heart I have to give the new food and menu at Andy's 2 stars. Andy's fried chicken was 5 stars before the change. We got chicken tenders w/ fries and hot chicken sandwiches. The "tenders" were poorly breaded, thinly sliced chicken breast pieces that were way too oily. The chicken sandwiches were the same poor, oily breading with nothing hot at all (the produce was nice and fresh on the sandwiches). The main spice of all the chicken seemed to be a lot oregano which works with some other spices but as the only spice is not tasty. The fries were okay. Sad that Andy's isn't nearly as good as it once was.

I DIDNT THINK NEW MANAGEMENT MEANT A COMPLETELY NEW MENU! I tried coming here a few weeks ago after having had it for the first time back in October . I found out they were closed because they were looking for new management. I was excited to see they were back open again and went in with friends to get some chicken sandwiches. I was disappointed to see how little chicken was actually in my sandwich and the coleslaw was completely different from the previous menu. The spicy chicken sandwich was not spicy at all. And don't get me started on the Mac and (no) cheese. I hyped this Mac up so much to my friends and when I opened my cup and saw the dry macaroni with burnt bread crumbs on top, I was speechless and very disappointed to see they were no longer using the smack and cheese recipe. The garlic fries weren't great either and over all everything could have used more salt, seasonings and CHEESE.

Pretty disappointed in this chicken. I went here thinking it was Andy's original chicken. But this place is a nock off. Flavorless chicken. Soggy fries. Overpriced. I tried to ask questions like how many chicken tenders come in the chicken tender with fries meal and he looked super confused. Told me 1. I looked super confused and he had to turn around and ask how many tenders came with the meal and they all had to talk it over and they decided on 4. They were square pieces of chicken. Which threw me off. Overall I will probably not be going back. It seems like they are trying to use the good name of Andy's original chicken and make a quick dollar from it.

What’s happening with Andy’s O.G. Chicken? The last I’ve been by and lights out, doors locked and no movement going on inside. I’ve only been inside to eat a few times this past 2021 and all I can think about is their chicken sandwich and their chicken fries. Hope you’ll be open soon Andy, cause I crave for that good ole chicken fries.

Loved the food really great, came on my lunch break for the first time after a busy 1/2 day and was pleasantly surprised to find a good crispy chicken sandwich placed in front of me. After all the Mexican food in Richmond it was a breath of fresh air to taste something else. Definitely worth a return lunch and staff friendly and speedy. I recommend ordering ahead at least 30 mins or just ordering inside if you can't order at least 20 mins ahead of time as the call orders take at least 20 mins but the inside order takes 10. A lesson learned for sure but the food was well worth the wait. If your in town I would recommend you swing by for lunch or dinner.

Andy's fried chicken is the best I've eaten. The chicken is juicy, delicious and with just the right amount of crunchiness. I was able to pick the degree of spice from mild to hot. The price was reasonable for the size of sandwich. Gets a little busy from time to time but well worth the wait.

I was really excited about this place because many people said it was good so I tried the chicken sandwich and it was disgusting and greasy after a few bites I threw it away will never be back
