Their service is not good, they are not polite and they charged us hot sos as well. Very cheap, other restaurant will give more number of things free of charge
We had a great lunch here. It is located right on the water front, next to the Rosie the Riveter museum. The restaurant has a very industrial feel with a lot of the original machinery around the place. Their menu is not extensive but everyone should be able to find something to like. Their salads are very good and their hamburger was outstanding. They also had some nice wines, by the glass. The service was excellent. Try to get a high top table by the window, great view. I think they are only open for lunch.
We just finished hiking near stinson beach and needed some drinks and a bite to eat....we googled this place and was surprised. It was off near a corner but had an amazing water view and outside patio to practice social distancing. I had the friend chicken sandwich and it was soooooooooooooo good. From friend had the fried rice with no meat and she loved her dish as well. The fries were freshly cut and the drinks were tasty. Great service, we will be back.
The service is constantly prompt, fantastic atmosphere, kind staff. Will return here again when I am here.
I only eat burgers a couple times a year so when I do, I want it to be epic. Ever since moving from NYC to Berkeley I've been on a quest for the best burger in the area and friends, this is IT. We went there for social distance sunset drinks (cocktails were also delicious) and the burger blew me away -- smoky, perfectly seasoned chargrilled flavor, excellent meat quality, nice squishy grilled brioche bun -- the whole thing was melt-in-your-mouth goodness. This is the stuff dreams are made of, and now I'm dreaming of returning to eat another one.Go here. Get the burger. You won't regret it.(I meant to take a picture of it but I ate it too fast. I could not be distracted from the deliciousness.)*Oh and the fries are yummy - nicely seasoned. And the waiter working the bar was very sweet.
I had opportunity to eat here some time ago, but did not until shelter rules were in place. We took out for dinner back in May, quinoa salad and ahi tuna salad were both plentiful and delicious. We went back today for lunch, the crispy fried chicken sandwich and corn soup did not disappoint. Service was fast and good natured - under no visible stress as it was a quiet afternoon. Overall, 2 very good experiences eating here, I highly recommend Assemble.
OMG I was surprised by a business counterpart with a take out from Assemble, what a delish surprise though!!He brought 9 different dishes that i shared with my coworkers, and we all LOVED the food. Very tasty, fresh, unique... what a hidden Gem!I am not a vegetarian but i like to try vegetarian dishes here and there, i got The Remy sandwich and i was in heaven... it is espectacular! I will definitely have their food again, next time may be at their patio and enjoying the view!
Came here for outdoor dining at the end of June. Their set up is self explanatory with the menus and reining rules clearly posted & the tables are a carefully calculated distance apart from each other. The menu is kind of limited and a little pricey but they have good food. I got a bowl of the pozole and enjoyed it. It was was way more than what I was expecting and definitely filled me up. It comes with tortilla chips, green cabbage, lime, chili sauce and jalapeños/cauliflower on the side. I tried some of their freshly baked cookies (snickerdoodle and I forgot the other one) and they had good flavor but I personally wouldn't order them for myself. Also, whoever took our walk up order was great so shout out to them.
I've been to Assemble for brunch [prior to the Shelter-in-Place order], and it was great! The food was well-portioned and tasty! The service was good as well!I've ordered from them twice now for takeout [during the Shelter-in-Place order], and I'm still pleased with them all around! The food is just as delicious and ready in a timely manner!
Insanely goodEggs Benedict: this is my acid test for any new brunch restaurant. Honestly, this may be the best Benedict I’ve had. Believe me, I’ll keep looking but this one will be tough to top. Served with a side salad of fresh baby greens with a lemon vinaigrette tasted very alive. Coffee: wonderful. Mr. Espresso.French Toast: also the best we’ve ever had. Homemade whipped cream on top with homemade applesauce. Extraordinary. The French toast itself wasn’t trying to hard to be sweet, relied on the toppings for that.Service: excellent!Location: A bit hard to find these you have to go through security gate but the guard is very friendly and waves you through. Follow signs to Rosie the Riveter Museum. It is right next-door. Recommend highly!! Fun adventure.
I enjoyed my visit here. I had the fried chicken sandwich and it was very good, though some more spiciness would be nice. The customer service is excellent, especially the manager Tony. I'll definitely be back again.
Assemble is a hidden gem. If your a history junkie, right next door is Rosie the Riveter National Historical Park. I had Sunday lunch at Assemble and overall the experience was good. I ordered a fried chicken sandwich with fries and IPA beer. The fried chicken sandwich was a good size for its price and it was delicious. The sandwich had a Asian fusion taste with a slight taste of Chinese five spices. Assemble has both indoor and outdoor seating. Outside has some nice view of the water. In the vicinity, there is a Columbia/Mountain Hardware employee only discount store. When you eat at Assemble, you will get a store pass to shop at the employee only store. When you pay your tab, your server will also give you a pass to Columbia/Mountain Hardware.
Amazing location, and one of the best burgers ever!
It's that view of the bay, can't beat it from the patio of this place. Inside is fine too, a ton of natural light because of all the windows. This place has been in the renovated Ford Plant for some time now. Menu has changed, and hours have too. This time I went for brunch. Good move, place was filing up at 11am on a Saturday. My homie got a breakfast plate. It looked fine. Nothing wowing. I got the braised pork with polenta, like having pulled pork and grits. It was not too bad. Service is a lil slow. But again, given the slim pickings in the area, nice for brunch.
