We finally got a chance to try their cakes, and they are sooo good. Their cakes are so moist! We love their karamel, pistachio, and chocolate cakes. We can find slices of their cakes at some 711's in the East Bay, so we plan on trying them all! We love this community bakery and love supporting this small business.

Bought 3 dozen cupcakes for my husband's birthday about 5-6 years ago, everyone LOVED the cupcakes. They were (what I consider adult size) cupcakes. Beautifully decorated and tasted delicious. Have not been disappointed whether ordering for a party or just a quick sweet treat.?

Cakes are decent but the peach cobbler is unacceptable. The dough had a wet sandwich bread texture and the cobbler itself is runny, no thickness.

I picked up the sweet potato cake from Berkeley Bowl! It was super moist and delicious. I met one of the owners (I think) who was dropping off the cakes and he was very kind. It was definitely a sweet treat that I will get again!

Worst cake bakery ever!!! Did not follow my instructions at! I asked for a vanilla and strawberry pink cake with butter cream. I got a ugly half assed mini mouse with some disgusting cream and rotten strawberrys! Completely ruined my daughters 2nd birthday! She had no cake and we paid $80 for nothing.

I've bought off of "to good to go" on more than one occasion. I can't speak for other reviewers, but I've never had bad cake or bad service here. It's day old cake. From a local patisserie. Cassandra is a lovely lady who makes lovely cakes. I've only had one issue ever because I happened to come by while they were at lunch, and that's on me for not planning on coming by earlier. The cakes are always soft and delicious even though they're technically not fresh, but being stale should be expected when purposefully purchasing leftover trimmings. There's always an assortment of different flavors so it's especially good if you don't know what you want/like and want to try a lot of options. I highly recommend trying her carrot cake and my coworkers (whom I share with) adore her pistachio and German chocolate cakes especially. She used to pack 3/4 small boxes into a paper bag, but now an order (less than $5) of cake trimmings is a pie round case full of trimmings. (Included picture has some spaces already removed)

The cakes here are delicious! I picked up a too good to go bag of "cake trimmings" and got to try their carrot cake, karamel, red velvet and sweet potato cakes. Each one was so moist and tasty, the frosting was not too sweet. Definitely recommend!

This place is a rip off and their cakes taste awful. I bought $5.99 for cake trimming basically paid for his trash and he bothered to only give two small boxes of cake trimming while some other people got 6 boxes. Never go back again and gave him a one star elsewhere. Also this place has lots of warning from health department and been shut down before. So be aware!
