My family ate there today and they said it left a powder in their mouth the quesadilla was super small like a finger size My family knows good Mexican food maybe this is a off day? but just in case has anyone else had this issue? My grandson said it was food was terrible but the horchata was good and he was glad it took the powder out his mouth

First time here and it's a very comfortable and cozy outdoor seating area. They have taco and seafood tacos! Prices are very reasonable, music playing as tv screens. The tacos were absolutely delicious! They two tacos trucks, one serving tacos and burritos m, the other seafood tacos. Will be coming here more often

Went for Lunch, ordered Tacos & a Super Burrito, also a Fresh hibiscus water. Friendly service, good vides, Clean área, lots of shade and tables, outdoor seating, TVs, two trucks, one is for Seafood orders and the other truck for steak/Pork/chicken orders. Super burrito was average, but them Tacos de Tripa!!!! Bomb! Very good tacos! Will go back for them Tacos! Hella Good!

Terrible. The worst tacos I have ever eaten. Do not even bother with this place. Pathetic excuses for tacos. They ought to be ashamed to call themselves a taco place. Yesterday 08/31/23, my first time here, I ordered eight carnitas and four chicken tacos to go. The chicken: completely tasteless. No flavor whatsoever, and no amount of salsa or jalapenos or radish or onion helped. It was gross and it felt like chewing nothing. Absolute waste of money. Now the carnitas: Worst I've ever experienced. I don't know what passes for carnitas at Tacos El Chino but it sure wasn't slow-cooked marinated pork shoulder. To begin with it was cubed meat (cubed???) tasteless, not crispy, not soft and flavorful, just awful. I cannot believe they pass this lousy meat off as carnitas. Also, some of the cubed meat was just pure fat. I'm not kidding, just little cubes of fat. Gross. The "carnitas" had no flavor, not seasoned, not cooked properly. I texted my friend who is Mexican (from Puebla) and he thinks they might have given me something besides carnitas in an effort to cheat me and take advantage of me. He said "I love my people, but if they think you are soft or they think they can use you to their advantage, they will." I said "Yeah but don't they understand that they'll make more money having me come back all the time as a customer rather than ripping me off once and I'll never return?". Omar said "I don't know but what I DO know is if they think they can get over on you for something, they will". Now honestly, I don't know if they passed off some other nasty meat as carnitas and took my money, or their carnitas were simply just awful. Either way I'll never, and I mean NEVER, go there again. And since I live in Richmond (about a four minute drive away) there are SO many other places to get tacos, why would I return here? Note to the owners; if you want to reply and post a number to contact you, I would be happy to discuss my terrible, rotten, lousy experience. To all other taco lovers: skip this lame spot, go somewhere else, you are not missing a thing at this horrible place. Don't get ripped off like I did. If I could give this place a worse rating than one star, I would, with pleasure.

I was in the area and had heard great things about the food here so I decided to try out the food and I can say it was worth the money! As soon as I got there I instantly was blown away by how well organized the patio area and food trucks were that I decided to try out 5 tacos de asada, 3 with everything (pictured) and 2 with only the meat and beans ( not pictured). The service was very amazing and the cashier even asked me if I needed any extra condiments or any special requests for the food which was a surprise. In terms of portion sizing I would say this establishment is spot on and fills up their tacos with salsa and meat which makes every bite very appetizing! As a whole, I'd say the tacos was a solid 8.5/10 only due to the fact that I do wish the meat was a bit warmer aswell as the salsa being a bit more spicy, but regardless they were very delicious. In terms of overall experience I would give this place a 9.25/10 because the ambiance and just the whole experience and environment as a whole while being there was above par with other similar restaurants. Overall I would 100% recommend this spot and would come again!

I love this place. They have two taco trucks sometimes three at this lot. They have flat-screen TVs and tables under shaded areas in the sand so cool. There's another spot but the fence was close at this time so it is bigger than you see on the video. They even have music ? playing. I believe at night they have it all nice too because I see all the lights up. My son that is seven likes this place a lot. They even have a small parking lot for about 3 cars that includes handicap parking, but you can find street parking pretty easy the time we went. They have one porta-potty that was clean when we went. I go right when they open for lunch that's why it looks empty. When I go to order there is an older guy that takes our orders which is really nice. We also order on the side some grilled onions which you see in the picture.I get their fish tacos ? ? ? so good! The fish tacos they serve are big! A cool little spot to go to in Richmond CA.I recommend it.

3 items at $12, and my only complaint is that the beans were crunchy? Seemed like a lot but not.

I was craving tacos, and Tacos El Chino did not disappoint. I got three tacos: pollo, pastor, and asada. My favorites were the pollo and pastor, although all were good! Meat was flavorful and tender, and the proportion of filling to tortilla was just right! The tacos came with radish, grilled onions, and a pepper! They operate out of a food truck. There is a nice outdoor seating, and they even have televisions playing sports in Spanish. As someone coming from Southern California, the tacos feel a little pricy at $3 a pop, but I am happy to support. Definitely bring cash because they charge a $1.50 fee for using credit or debit.

Great pastor and chicken tacos. Careful preparation and kind service. Loved the salsas also.

I absolutely love this place! It's good vibes, good people, amazing food! I love coming here at night because the patio with the lights on is very nice. I've been coming to this spot for years and never had a bad experience! The burritos, the tacos, the tortas, everything is the best! Go to this place now!

If you're in Richmond, California and craving for some mouth-watering tacos, you have to check out Tacos El Chino on 23rd Street. Trust me, this taco truck is the real deal! From the moment you step up to the window and take a look at the menu, you can tell that you're in for a treat. The scent of sizzling meat and spices will immediately tantalize your senses, and before you know it, you'll be placing your order. One thing that sets Tacos El Chino apart from other taco trucks is the variety of meats they offer. They have everything from classic carne asada and al pastor to more unique options like lengua (beef tongue) and tripa (tripe). If you're feeling adventurous, I highly recommend trying their cabeza (beef head) tacos - they're so tender and flavorful! Of course, no taco is complete without toppings, and Tacos El Chino has got you covered. Their salsa verde is a must-try, and their freshly chopped cilantro and onions add the perfect amount of crunch and freshness to each bite. And let's not forget about the tortillas - they're made fresh on-site and are soft, warm, and delicious. But what really makes Tacos El Chino stand out is the friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The staff is always happy to chat and make recommendations, and the customers are just as friendly. It's not uncommon to strike up a conversation with a stranger while waiting for your order - it's just that kind of place. Overall, if you're looking for authentic and delicious tacos served with a side of community, Tacos El Chino is the place to be. Don't let the unassuming exterior fool you - this taco truck packs a punch when it comes to flavor and experience. Give it a try, and you won't be disappointed!

We hired Tacos El Chino to cater our preschool opening. They were prompt and efficient. The food was delicious! Hot, fresh, flavorful. They were able to handle our 100 person event seamlessly. I would definitely recommend them for your next event. I have people asking months later for their info to cater their own events.

Solid tacos and nice outdoor seating which made sitting in the sunshine feel almost like being on a mini vacation.
