I have been here twice their food is not consistent. Most of the food is prepackaged. Don’t try the fried rice or basil fried rice. You ask for Thai Hot x 2 they give you sweet fried rice.

The best Thai food in Rocklin. I lived in Los Angeles for 20 years and for those who have experienced Thai food in LA, you know it is some of the best in the country. I have tried a half a dozen Thai restaurants in the Rocklin / Roseville area. I LOVE the food here.pad thai - fantastic, perfect blend of flavors (largest portion for the money of any Thai spot locally)red curry w/ chicken: mild spicy - perfect amount of spice, and sweet( wife enjoyed as well)larb salab spicy - just the right amount of sour and spicy (just for me)deep fried fish - fish was crispy on the outside, and moist inside w/ the sweet and spicy sauce was fantastic (EVERYONE loved it)Thai fried rice - not soggy, and rice was not dry at all. tasty (EVERYONE LOVED IT)egg rolls - not oily, though it's not my favorite food to eat, it was good (kids didn't like the crunchy exterior with veggie stuffing)** To all the entitled people leaving negative reviews about paper plates and inadequate staffing. We are going through a pandemic, and so is this restaurant. serving on paper plates makes it possible to keep things as sterile as possible, while allowing all remaining staff to prep meals, instead of washing dishes. And for those complaining there was only one server on a weekend - grow up. Many restaurants have shuttered their doors, or only serving takeout. The fact they have someone working and keeping someone working, should be applauded, not frowned upon. It is shameful when people act so entitled, and neglect to consider what it takes for a restaurant to remain open. The owners of this restaurant has done everything right to keep their business open while serving incredible Thai food for their patrons.**Royal Siam will be a weekly stop for my family and I.

Have no idea how this is 4 stars on Yelp. Extremely disappointed. Pad Thai is not authentic, just plain weird, clumpy and strange. A lot better Thai in Roseville area.

First time for us and we were impressed with freshness, flavors of our meals. Huge menu to choose from and friendly owner. Restaurant was shinning in cleanliness, decor was stunning. Diffently going again.

Awesome food. Great prices! Comfortable environment. Most high places are really expensive for good quality food this place as well priced and food quality is really great!

We went a few weeks ago in late December. Food was great! However, the continued use of paper plates, styrofoam cups, and plastic utensils for a dine in experience was disappointing. Until that changes we will not be going back. Please switch back to proper plates, cups/glasses, and cutlery. Service was slow but server was very kind and apologetic.

Friendly, kind people, excellent food- I was ordering a couple of dishes to take on the road with me and the owner made sure to give me water and silverware and napkins a plenty to go with me very kind very good food.

I have dined in twice and ordered for delivery once, and the food was fantastic all three times! The bold flavors make it impossible to just sit there and eat casually. The conversations are always centered around how delicious the food is. I've tried the basil stir fry dish, drunken noodles, fried rice, and Thai basil fried rice. Honestly, they're all incredible! And just a side note: I'm not one to diminish the reputation of any small business, but the prices and business hours are WAY better than Pinto. It's the truth.

We have been coming here for a few years and have never been disappointed until the last few times we have gone there. The management of this place seems to have forgotten about it and have let it die.First, they are still serving everything on take-out paper plates, bowls, and cups. Hot Thai food on soggy paper plates is not my idea of a good eat-in experience.Second, they seem to have forgotten that beer is a money-maker for restaurants. We wanted a large bottle of beer rather than the standard 12 oz. bottle. They didn't have any. Really? Management just watched a good profit go up in smoke. We ended up getting the small beer and asked for a glass to pour it into. The only thing the server could offer us was a plastic cup. No thanks. Plastic cups are for camping and sitting by the pool.Third, the Pad Thai was mushy and smelled and tasted like fish sauce. I know fish sauce is part of the ingredients of Pad Thai but when it over powers the meal, it's too much.Fourth, the table was sticky. Since they only employ one server at a time there's probably no time to do a thorough cleaning of the tables.I wish I didn't have to write this review. We had another Thai place in town that was our go-to until we found Royal Siam. But until management makes the decision to bring back real plates, cups, and silverware; stocks the bar with multiple choices of beer; and thoroughly cleans throughout; we will not be back. The only reason I gave this review two stars is because the server was very nice and apologetic. She was the only server on a Friday night and was working hard to keep up with about 15 tables of patrons. I think she did an excellent job given the circumstances.

Food was gave me food poisoning... Really? My dinner size portion was very small and no rice with meal? I asked for a lid for my to go cup of tea. He came back with iced tea and said "it's cool I charge you for the iced tea too right?" I never asked for it. So let me get this straight...you give me lunch portion on cheap paper plate, charge me for hot tea and iced tea and expect me to come back.Hard NO

second time trying this Thai .The food was fresh and really good. The pad tai is sort of stuck together which could be improved i think but other than that really tasty

Food was good. Service was good but everything was served on paper plates or plastic to go type containers. Plastic fork and spoons too. Not what I had in mind for a sit down meal inside a restaurant. Plus plastic is horrible for the environment. It just ruined eating out. If I wanted takeout I would have ordered it

The curry is great! Too much oil used to stir fry the vegetables. Way too many onions although tasty
