This meal stands out as one of my favorites during my time in Roseville. It's a reminder that sometimes, the best dishes are the ones you stumble upon unexpectedly. The downtown area of Roseville, with its charming streets and inviting storefronts, sets the perfect backdrop for an Italian dining adventure. My heart was set on lasagna, a classic favorite, but I learned it's a coveted weekend special, available only on Fridays and Saturdays while supplies last. This small detail speaks volumes about the restaurant's commitment to freshness and quality.Instead, I opted for the Bolognese with meatballs, a decision that did not disappoint. It's not often that one finds a place that serves truly authentic Italian food, but this restaurant has managed to capture the essence of Italian cooking.

Visited here for my mom's birthday and loved it! She even got a free birthday dessert. The restaurant its self is small and it gets busy so make sure to get here early for a table (or make a reservation.) Not much waiting room inside, but definitely worth the wait. I got the Macceroni e formaggio which was fantastic. If you love Italian food this is "the place" to go!

On St. Patrick's Day, my family of seven went out for dinner. Despite the fact that there were 2 other large parties along with ours, the food was excellent and the service was impeccable! Our server, Kim, was fabulous! Definitely will visit again. I had risotto and lemon cake, both of which were delicious. Alfredo, Bolognese, calzones, and salad were all a hit at the table. The bartender was polite and funny. The staff were courteous and friendly. I will definitely return to try another dish. It is recommended to call and make reservations in advance.Parking: Nice parking garage around the back of the building - two minute walk if there is no parking in the front.

My go-to restaurant for authentic Italian food. The lasagna and fettuccini Alfredo are the bomb. Can’t go wrong with Mikey’s giants balls as well.

I had the Ricotta Gnocchi with chicken. It was the best gnocchi I've ever had.... The surprising thing was the focaccia with the olio on the side, I've been to Italy, I've eaten at many trattorie, I can say confidently: The Place has hands down the best focaccia I've tasted anywhere. I will definitely be going back.

It was my birthday and I had a reservation that I made way in advance. I had to wait 30 minutes to be seated. It was very loud with singer and music from Stone Age. Their food was not tasty. We have ordered 4 different dishes and none of them was good. My chicken Parmesan looked more like a soup with thick layer of cheese and tiny chicken breast under. The chicken piccata had some weird taste, my kids pasta was loaded with butter. The pizza was very average. Overall it was a horrible choice to celebrate my birthday. Never ever I will be back.

I'm sorry but a $30 per bottle of wine corkage fee, is too steep for Roseville...

Reservations don’t mean anything and service was bad

Reservations mean nothing to this place. They should stop taking them. I think that would help manage peoples expectations. I made my reservation the day before for 7:15. I confirmed the reservation when I got the automated text to do so. I arrived 15 minutes early with my wife and three kids. We decided to leave some time after 8 since we were not being seated. Many others with reservations earlier than mine were grumbling about the same issue as we waited on the street for a table. I made an attempt to ask someone when a table would be ready. Unfortunately there was no staff insight to talk to. I watched through the window noticing how slow the service was. It took at least 20 minutes for people to even place their order. Some people that were seated when I arrived didn’t get their food the entire time I was there. Dine here only if you are willing to take the risk of not being seated.
