This place was my absolute favorite spot to pick up breakfast on morning break. Unfortunately it's gone now. RIP Recess; I loved you! And thank you for introducing me to Scotch Bonnet hot sauce. Hoping to see you back somewhere <3

We recently came here about a week ago and had a lovely lunch. We ordered two sandwiches and they were lovely because you could tell that all the ingredients were fresh and homemade. Even the side salad was tasty! Will definitely come back to try other dishes when I'm back in Sacramento!

I never eat sandwiches, in fact for the most part I hate them. I just got the French dip sandwich at the employees recommended. It was hands down the best sandwich I have had in Sacramento. I will be back.
