We had been here a couple of times and the food was great, but we were there a week ago and it was horrible. The service was lacking, and the food was sub-par. I ordered the super burrito and the carne asada tasted burnt and had a terrible aftertaste. Debating whether we’ll return.

Our favorite Mexican restaurant! My favorite restaurant! My favorite bar! The best staff, best food, best experience! Love this place for food or a drink!!

This is my new favorite mexican restaurant. I don't even know where to start so I'll start by saying that I want to eat everything so I will be back many times. The food is amazing. I got the combo platter this time with the tamale and the enchiladas and holy moly, was it amazing. Their hot salsa is actually hot!!! Which is so nice because I never go anywhere and have their "hot" salsa actually be hot! The service was great! There's so many servers and waiters around and they're all willing to help out or grab your waiter for you! It is such a cool, funky little place too! I will be back soon!

Oh Love

Food Is good. Service is good. Parking could suck if you go in the wrong day, but that's downtown for you.

The food is quite pedestrian. Nothing to get excited about - there are many other Mexican restaurants in town and some fantastic Taquerias where your money could be better spent. Their beer was cold but it’s beer. The service was slow for a busy Friday night. There were 5 of us and to order, eat and leave took 2+ hours. We waited quite a bit for our initially surly waiter - who got friendlier as the night wore on. That was good. My molé tasted a bit old - and had an odd texture - was thick like old brown gravy and too sweet. Beans were molten lava hot and soupy. Rice was nothing to write home about. This is not the Tres Hermanas of 20 years ago. Margaritas were overpriced. I give a lot for the atmosphere - as folks really did look to be enjoying themselves and it was quite crowded. I will not be back.

2nd time is a charm as we stopped by "Tres Hermanas" one other time but the wait was longer than watching Paint dry!!! Today, We waited about 15 min for a table of two First impression of the inside decor was very authentic of being in Mexico The menu had a lot of delicious offerings but we tried a Combo of beef/Chicken Fajitas & Beef Taco/Cheese enchilada: they were both delicious Service was decent, no complaints Note: Parking is challenging on the streets! We will come back to try their other dishes for sure. "Bon appetit"

I LOVE eating here. I come at least once a week. The food is always delicious and the servers are cool. It's best to eat here on the off hours/ before the rush because it gets crazy packed. Parking is ok. It's street parking. The ambience is cool. There is a small bar. This is for the 1 star. Please be aware that if your party is only 2 people and you having been waiting for a table to open up; and another party of 3 come in; if one of the bigger booths open up, they will not sit you, they will sit the bigger party (even if it's just 1 more person and they are not here- that person came 15 minutes later). Personally I think that BS and terrible for ANY restaurant to do that. That happened to my group. We had NEVER been treated that way until today. Mind you, we come EVERY week. All the hostess had to do was explain it to us. We've would've been cool will it. It's understandable because it was around lunch time

Best Chili Relleno I've had in a long time! Service was top-notch. Stop reading reviews and go enjoy a meal in mid-town Sacramento.
