What kind of cafe doesn’t let their paying customers use the bathroom

Good food, nice variety. Service was a little lacking as they took several minutes to acknowledge my presence or make any notice that they would help me soon. Other than that good simple place.

There is no more Cafe 3:15 because the owner already turned their store to a dumpling style. It has a changed since a few days ago. I definitely missed their Hong Kong style milk tea and other food besides the drinks.

Food is okay. However, the quality of service is "poor". Our waiter seemed disinterested and inattentive from the moment we were seated. Manners are terrible. To make matters worse, as my party and I were preparing to leave, our waiter stopped us at the door. With an uncomfortable smile, she pointed out that we hadn't left a tip according to the recommended percentage of the bill. This unexpected confrontation made us angry and embarrassed. It's worth noting that the recommended gratuity seemed disproportionately high given the subpar service we had received. While tipping is a customary practice in many countries, it is meant to be a voluntary gesture of appreciation for exceptional service. However, when waiter push customers to pay a specific percentage or amount as a tip, it can lead to uncomfortable situations.

I love the variety here. You can have the traditional HK cafe food or you can also have traditional HK deli meat. Even though I love a good HK cafe dish, I decided to go with their roasted duck and soy sauce chicken over rice. I'm a sucker for Chinese deli meat, especially when they're roasted. It was pretty good, maybe 3.5/5, not the best, but decent. It lacked meat and they were a bit stingy with the pieces. The black pepper steak was alright too, it could've been charred more but the flavor was good. I will come back again to check out other items.

Good price and food. And good service !! The best dish for us is Baked double pork chop rice or spaghetti.

Mmm.... I've never had Chinese food that tastes so good like comfort food before. The curry sauce on the fish balls was soooo good. And the mushroom gravy on the fish+rice dish was awesome. Definitely recommend. The tomato cabbage soup they gave me before anything else too... Mmmm soooo good.

I didn't expect much prior to giving this place a try since it only has a 3 star rating. Since I was craving for HK style baked rice, I was left with little options. When I took the first sip of their borscht soup, I knew instantly that I would be here for a ride. :) All I tasted in the soup was salt, lack of tomato taste and flavors including the sweetness from the carrots, lemon (sour), herbs and etc. When I took the first bite of the baked pork chop fried rice, the sauce was overly sweet and tasted artifical. It tasted worse than a canned spaghetti sauce. The rice was also dry and hard. Definitely lots of opportunities to improve.

Found a roach in my soup. Will never be back.

I have eaten there couple times. Their foods and services are ok. However, they are very dishonest. The first incident was in Feb 2023 when my credit card statement came back, I saw that 315 Cafe charged me $2 more than what I wrote down as total on the before card charge. I have them the benefit of doubt and hope that was an honest mistake. Then I dined in again in April 2023 and again when I received my credit card statement, they charged me $1 what I wrote down. This happened twice and I don't think it is mistake again. I called my credit card company to dispute and reported their dishonest Business practice. Please be aware if you pay credit card there. On top of that, I buy the Chinese bbq pork at one of the restaurant at Irving Sunset San Francisco for $10/lb while they were still charging over $15/lb that time I dined in. I checked the price purposely since my friend told me that he bought the bbq pork for $10/lb at the restaurant at Irving. For the information, I just bought the bbq pork couple days ago at that Irving restaurant still $10/lb as the update.

Tried this place on a weekend afternoon; quite a busy place with older Chinese ppl! The decorations and ambiance felt very HK, in a good way haha! The staff were fast with their service. We were given the menu and were served hot tea after we got seated. Lots of options whether you want a whole meal or a light snack. They have daily specials that come with an entree, soup and HK milk tea. Unfortunately, I wasn't feeling the two options for the day so opted for something else. What we ordered:- Popcorn chicken (B3): the chicken was crunchy but a bit saltier than I liked. The portions were pretty big, so it's a good appetizer for sharing. Wish it came with lemon or some spicy powder for an extra kick. - Roasted duck noodle soup (G5): the noodles were cooked well, not overly cooked. Large portion of noodles with soup and the roasted duck comes on a separate plate to not make the duck soggy. The duck didn't have much meat but the flavor was okay. - Ace double pork chop (E1): the house special which comes with pork chop and pork cutlet. My fave out of the three dishes ordered! The pork cutlet was crunchy and nicely seasoned while the pork chop was saucy and flavorful. The spaghetti came with just enough tomato sauce, which was a bit sour (I like!). Overall, a decent HK style cafe with lots of food options. Lots of parking in the plaza. Service might be rushed if they're busy but orders come out pretty quickly. Give it a try if you're in the area!

3:15 stands for 15 minutes past three o'clock in the afternoon, which means tea time. The food is OK here. Not great. Certain stuff were out of stock when we tried to order it like yellow egg noodles or wide rice noodles. Only thin rice noodle or packaged ramen noodle were available. Wontons are not even on the menu. What kind of Hong Kong cafe is this? Dishes like popcorn chicken $8, BBQ duck and BBQ squab were fine. The sizzling rib eye steak spaghetti with black pepper sauce $20 was the best out of the bunch. The curry fish spaghetti didn't taste good after it got cold. The baked spaghetti red dishes was missing that baked favor. For this dish to be good, it should be slightly burnt on top to get more tomato taste baked onto the pasta and pork chop. The double pork chop dish $16 was interesting. They tonkatsu the top pork piece and bake the bottom one. Meh, should have baked it longer. Service was fine.

We passed by and saw the sign 興隆燒臘 and so we bought a roasted duck for takeout to try it out and found it very good. The skin is very crispy even on the second day. And it was seasoned well. We saw that they have an oven right there making the ducks. It is an extension of the Cafe 3:15 next door which we haven't tried but will definitely come back to try.
