Well made pâte à choux at Pâte à Choux. I tried the Nutella roasted almond and the creme strawberry. Both were delicious, staff is nice, and the place is cute but very limited seating. Located on the second floor above the food court.

I used to LOVE their puffs and would make the effort to drive down just to get them. However, I was disappointed to find that the amount of cream has been reduced by half.

Ordered strawberry, Almond and matcha mochi cubes .Love the strawberry so much !Crispy puff inside with custard, strawberry cream with slice strawberries on top , super delicious ! Sauce is light , delicate and flavorful ( pulp inside ).Mochi Cubes is ok , it’s not crispy texture , but matcha cream light and you can tell they used good matcha powder.Almond is too rich for me , but still good .

Finally got to try this cream puffs at the Tanforan mall. Place is spacious but didn't see many tables. I ordered the matcha cream puff. Personally I felt the matcha flavor was lacking a bit but sweet. My favorite part was the outer shell. The puff is delicious, crispy and flavorful. Next time I'm planning to try the vanilla flavor.

Came here around 4pm on a Sunday. There was no line, but they were sold out on half of the specialty puffs. The specialty puffs are premade and the normal ones are made to order: you can choose between a chocolate choux and an original choux as the base and pick a flavor for the cream filling. We got a nutella sea salt puff & a matcha one. They were pretty mediocre. Not sure I get the hype about this place, but I guess they're cheap. The puffs also don't seem to sit well over time & tasted sour by the next morning.

This was my first time having this pastry and it was so delightful. The closest thing I've had was a cream puff from Beard Papa but I think Pate a Choux is better, although I know they are different things! The best words I could use to describe this is like a cream puff but with a cookie crust. It was absolutely my favorite part biting into those crunchy bits. The vanilla custard inside was so smooth and not too sweet. I would come here again but it's in a half dead mall. Hopefully they can relocate somewhere else soon.

Make sure you get a pate a choux made on the spot. Don't get a pre-made one from the fridge. They taste like refrigerator. I had a feeling it was going to taste like that, so I asked worker if I could get a freshly made one. She said yes, but gave me a fridge tasting one anyways. Horrible customer service.

The high quality and delicious Choux Cream that is comparable, if not better, than Beard Papa. I love the variety of the flavors here.

Order:* Original Choux Hojicha Pros:* No line in the afternoon, but then again some of the popular flavors were already sold out, which did look good.* Texture of the puff is exactly what you'd expect if you've had other crème puffs, solid but with a slight chew.* The plentiful filling was undeniably Hojicha, which is a good thing.Cons:* I wish I could have tried the more popular flavors, but from what I could try it was very solid, but not especially memorable enough to make set plans to go out of your way to try.Comments:* If you have a craving or need a gift, this would be a good option.

I walked into this store front, looking for something sweet. I ordered a Carmel choux. It was very bland. There was no flavor, and it didn't taste like anything. There was a cream in the middle, but nothing. The bun was hard and tasteless. I don't know why I spent 6 dollars on this. The ambiance is cute. Small clean store front. There's no music or anything happening in the store. There's only two people that work there. The service was good, but they had to search for change when I paid. They didn't have the proper amount of change in the registry for customers. They also don't give receipts.

I LOVEEEE this place! I wish it wasn't so far from where I lived. Actually, maybe that's a good thing because if not, I probably would be here every week LOLThe first time I found out about this place was during the early time of the pandemic (2020/2021). I believe I saw them on Instagram and they looked so delicious, but it was pretty far and there was really no other reason for me to be all the way out there. In 2022, I was able to celebrate my birthday weekend doing whatever I wanted. That means I WANTED TO COME HERE!I'm not too familiar with the Tanforan mall so we had no idea where to park. I had no idea where it was in the mall. Of course, when we finally found parking, it turns out that the place was on the opposite side of the mall (closer to the food court).Once we got there, I was so excited and I literally wanted to try 1 of everything. Sadly, there weren't many flavors. The only ones that were available were the plain and chocolate shells where you can choose what filling you wanted. They also had some mochi egg tarts too, but I really wanted to try the specialty choux! I asked the workers if they were planning of having any more of the specialty flavors and they said yes, but it would be about 40 minutes since they had to bake them. I was already here, so we actually just ended up walking around the mall for about an hour and when we came back, I think I ended up ordering 6 different things! I got Vanilla with the vanilla filling, chocolate with chocolate filling, Nutella, Strawberry, Hojicha, and 2 of the Mochi Egg Tarts. My absolute favorites were the chocolate shell with the chocolate filling and also the Mochi Egg Tarts! They were so delicious and I was so tempted to order even more but I didn't want them to melt in the car since we were getting dinner afterwards. I love this place so much, I've been back here twice already! I really hope they do consider opening a location closer to the South Bay. I feel like people in the South Bay would love these Pate a Choux since there's nothing too similar.

The Strawberry Crème cream puff had a crispy outer shell, but the inside was soft. The filling had the perfect sweetness and was topped with fresh strawberries. The cream filling paired well with the puff. The size of the cream puff was small, considering it was $5.50. The ambiance of the shop is cozy and quiet. Overall, an excellent option for a post-meal dessert

**This review is based off a Doordash delivery**Was craving cream puffs and wanted to try something different than beard papa. Found this place on doordash though I have passed by it at Tanforan. I think this is quite an amazing cream puff considering it survived a good 4 hours before I ate it. The shell was still dry and delicious. Cream was not too sweet and full of flavor. I did prefer the premium flavor strawberry to the matcha and hojicha just as it had more cream to balance out the puff. Solid place though and great if you don't like things overly sweet!
