This place isn't even a shadow of its former self. The owners have ruined a once beloved San Bruno institution. Stopped buy to get a maple custard bar. It had very little filling and the maple glaze was so hard it just crumbled off the top like hard candy frosting. Place looks horrible inside. It's just not worth it anymore to get a donut here anymore. What a disgrace.

Donuts are my weakness and I was excited to try rolling pin after reading all the reviews....but I ended up tossing out most of my donuts. :/ Donuts had a more cake-like texture instead of the light/airy texture with a slight chew that I always crave. The donuts also did not taste very fresh unfortunately. Maybe it was an off day?

This has been a childhood staple for decades now. I have been going to Rolling Pin for over 40 years now. It's the best. Simple, no frills, just awesome ole fashioned donuts. A dozen donut holes are still $3.00. Not too many bargains like that left anywhere.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp on the side entrance in the parking lot.

If you don’t know you better ask somebody! These are some of the best treats money can buy. Always fresh and consistently amazing. Rolling Pin is up there top 10 for sure and top 5 pending. When you need some donuts Rolling Pin is the place. There is a small parking area for Rolling Pin or along the street. They have coffee and other baked goods besides donuts. It's a small donut shop with some seating outside. Picked up an array of half dozen donuts. If you need a sugar rush, any of the glazed donuts is the way to go. Service was helpful but they do get busy in the morning.

My fiancé and I stopped by for donuts after a long hike and it was amazing! We got a Glazed Old Fashion and Custard Filled Maple Bar. Both were really fresh, super soft, and not overly sweet. I love a good custard filled donut and this one had the perfect amount of custard. The store itself is really clean and you can tell they continuously make their donuts fresh. People were coming in and out during the 10 minutes we were enjoying our donuts in the parking lot, so you can tell it's a local favorite. We both agree that this is our new favorite donut spot in the area and will be coming back again!
