Great place to eat for a reasonable price. It's not a fine dining establishment, but it's perfect for what it's supposed to be. A place where people and groups of people can relax and have a meal and conversation with each other without being or feeling rushed.

This is your old school family owned and managed local restaurant. They are very efficient because ordering is at the counter, pick up your drink, and food will be delivered to your number at your table. All the prepared food is home made. Portions are on the bigger size. Prices are best you can find in the area especially if you get the daily special i.e. rib eye dinner with soup or salad and drink for $17.95. Cant do a full meal at fast food for these prices.

This review it is a 3.5 Star on food quality, I mean this Mom and Pop's Cafe is great for a low budget meal in the middle of San Carlos...., this includes Eggs bacon hash browns pancake or toast and coffee... and When You learned good quality meat comes at a price? It's when you 'd ordered from a separate Menu the New York Steak and Eggs with all the fixings, at a modest $25 but even then, You better be READY for some GOOD chewing up for pieces that Otherwise cannot be ingested? and for this reason, if I am nearby?..., I prefer the quick cheap breakfast // Clean Atmosphere and Great Service I would suggest to have a revamp on their Menu that has been hanging for decades

I eat here often, the food is reasonable and you get alot! I walk dogs in San Carlos so it's a perfect place to break for lunch!
The place is terrible and their service is even worse their staff calls black people slurs in Spanish expecting us not to understand what is being said. Which is very offensive and I believe they shouldnt have a business if they aren’t gonna treat ALL customers with respect
