George (the owner) and his staff were incredibly hospitable and source food consciously. The baba ghanoush and falafel were INCREDIBLE, even by comparison to dishes I've had while travelling in the middle east. Highly recommend to anyone visiting San Diego! Well worth the drive from down town (better quality, better price). Bonus for LOTS of vegetarian and vegan options.

Went here for lunch, and ordered the Zataar bread, falafel wrap, falafel salad, baba ganoush, and dessert. It’s the best Mediterranean restaurant I’ve ever eaten at. It has plenty of vegetarian options and the best falafel I’ve ever had in my life. George seated / served us and it was a very hospitable experience - it felt like we were eating in someone’s home. I plan to come back, and I recommend anyone in San Diego should check out the restaurant!

I have been to Alforon a couple of times. It is enough to say except the time that I was in Lebanon, this was the most delightful and authentic Lebanese meal I've had. You can't go wrong with any of the choices there. Our favorite were the kibbeh in libneh and Ouzi! Also, don't forget their lemon mint drink, it is amazingly refreshing.

Pleasantly surprised by the personal service. Wonderful ambiance. Dessert was truly deserving of the hype. Some of the dishes were not my flavor profile, but they have a large menu so can't wait to come back.

Excellent and inexpensive Lebanese food! This place is a gem! Not only was the food delicious, the owners welcome you like they are welcoming you to their own family table. It's the warmest hospitality I've experienced in the US in a very very long time. So bring your friends. Order everything! And keep coming back!

Great Lebanese food, we will be back soon. Neighborhood gem!!!!!
Oh my gosh, this place is so gooddd you know the food is authentic when they have music and people talking in another language when you walk in. The service is great! Very welcoming and and they were willing to accommodate us to sit in and eat even though we ordered take out. I will send a heads up to any other people who are lactose intolerant that they do have a lot of food that either have cheese or a type of milk product in it. I would say it's worth going through to just try the food. would definitely come again when I come down to San Diego!

What a discovery! What a gem! I went here on a whim with my daughter last night and had the best culinary experience! The owner Samia recommended a few dishes and I was blown away by the authenticity and the complexity of flavors and textures. This is NOT your typical middle eastern food. This restaurant belongs in a posh neighborhood and would satisfy the most elevated palates! Good job ??

Great service, been going for years but won't be returning due to the prices , can't afford almost 40 dollars for 2 sandwiches, other than that food is always fresh
