I wish I had taken a photo of my two tacos. They were lightly battered with fresh ingredients on top with a delicious tangy creamy sauce. Comes with a side of green hot sauce as well. The plate has the side of beans and chips! I'll go back for sure for lunch and to snap a photo.Also feel confident eating there. We had outside dining plastic vinyl separating the other diners and no contact menus or touching of your credit card. All through the touch of your personal phone.

So I Yelped clam chowder bread bowl and Beerfish was one of the restaurants that said they carried it. So since it was near where I was staying, we went to try it. So menu did not carry the bread bowl since COVID-19. Sad how this epidemic has ruined our menu options. Don't order a Corona because tHey don't carry it. But our very excellent server suggested one of their beers and we loved it! I still ordered the clam chowder bowl without my bread and that was good also. So far happy I picked this place. We ordered the surf n turf burrito, fish and chips, and the lobster tacos. Everything was great and we were all happy with our food. If you like spicy this is the place but for a good beer and some fish and chips it was great. They have outside dinning and heaters for cold and fans for hot. Our server was great! I would have given it a 5 if they had a spicy sauce.

If you're ever weary about going out & dining during this pandemic, you can leave your worries at the door! By far the cleanest restaurant we've been to. The drinks, food and the service are great! Not sure why this place doesn't have 5 stars, but keep it up and you'll get there!

After circling around tediously for a parking spot in the area, we were relieved to be seated right away. The restaurant is located in a hipster area of north park. The large open windows make you feel like your part of the outdoor atmosphere. So when you sit down you scan the code on the table to view the menu and also order straight from your phone. The server was very friendly, she brought us a few samples of the hot sauces made by the manager himself. We ordered a filet mignon and lobster burrito that had a truffle sauce and fries inside. It was really good although I didn't get too many pieces of the steak on my half of the burrito (I split it with my boyfriend). The fries inside the burrito are big and will fill you up so fast. The fish and chips were decent but nothing to write home about. Overall we said we would come back and try more on the menu.

Every time we are in San Diego or on our way to TJ we stop here ! Surf & Turf burrito is our go to! Highly recommend it , you get the best of both worlds and the sauce in this burrito is phenomenal.

I have always been curious to try Beerfish and am glad to have the outdoor dining experience. Closing at 8pm, we got in with over an hour to spare and were lucky that a table had just opened up. As with many other restaurants now, the menu is available online through scanning a QR code. In this case, I was perplexed when our waitress explained that we actually had to add things to the cart and check out for our table in order to proceed with the outdoor dine-in experience.Regardless, the food and drink items were placed and checked out and a Michelada was brought out to me. It was a now an excellent start to a solid meal. I ordered the grilled mahi taco plate for my entre, which came with beans and chips. While everything was tasty, I was wishing for something more than beans to dip my chips into. The chips were lightly flavored and had a nice salt to it. I really liked the flour tortilla on the fish tacos and it was interesting that the fish were in several smaller pieces rather than one filet. It was a bit of a juicy mess eating the tacos and had me wishing the tortilla was double layered. Overall I thought the service was efficient and friendly and I enjoyed my drink and meal.

Definitely a contender for the best fish tacos in town. The fish & chips burrito is also killer, and their hush puppies ping-pong back and forth between sweet and savory in the best way. Staff is super nice, their takeout game during lockdown has been A+++ (you can order a beer and for an extra $1.75 you can keep the pint glass!). Everything is fresh and delicious. Seriously one of my favorite places in San Diego.

Nothing was sanitized when I was there. I watched after the first table left and nothing was done at the next two tables either. I'm sorry you're upset but this was my experience and it was very disappointing as we have been a big supporter of Beerfish over the years. I am aware of pandemic issues thank you. I was simply stating this so others would be aware as we were not. I said nothing bad of the food.

Great food! Great setup to accommodate the current situation! Very safe! For dine in, you place your order for food and drinks with your phone and have your order delivered to your table! Super easy. Keep in mind...you can't place a drink order without food. So, I ordered one beer and one taco at a time. Then a final beer with a to-go burrito for tomorrow's lunch!
