Vegetarian burrito was awful. If you are looking for a lettuce burrito this is the place to get it. Salsa is not spicy. Would not come back here. Taco shops in Utah are better than this.

my burrito was soggy and gross. first time trying this location. i usually go to the one on park.burrito was like half the size of a 'bertos burrito for $11. tomatoes were mushy like they had been frozen so they just leeched water which made the insides soupy. $1 for sour cream. $2 for cheese, of which there was maybe a tablespoon. salsa was in no way hot and lacked flavor.all around disappointment. customer service was the bare minimum that needed to be done by a disinterested and slightly contemptuous gen z.

Wonderful burritos and margaritas. Get the surf and turf burrito or the aloha burrito. They're amazing.

This place just to be really great but unfortunately I it was the last chance I gave them. They were under staffed when I went for brunch. Now I’m the website says $20 for food and $20 bottomless drinks but when giving the menu it shows difference prices. We waited approximately 35-40 minutes to get our first round of food. You can tell the menudo was old from another day or frozen. I really hope the owners try to fix something b cause this business is not the same. They just want your money and costumer service is super bad. They are better all you can eat brunch with mimosas included for less and food is delicious and they actually make you feel welcomed.

This is a cute local eatery on Adams. There isn't much parking in this area so if you are planning to drive here, you would have to scour the neighborhood for parking.Once we got here, the menu is on the wall and you order at the register. Our server was really friendly. I thought that my steak fajitas were ok. Next time, I'd pick something else on the menu. I think the fajitas were too saturated with oil and the meat was overly marinated. They seem to have a large variety of Mexican food, so why not try something else in this cute restaurant.

We loved it here. Food was amazing. Service from May was the kindest and sweetest. Horchata was perfect. Decently priced as well.

Last night had Mexican food craving and decided to try El Zarape on Adams ave. Never been there before, and oh boy, that was a great choice. Nice chilled atmosphere, food is very fresh and yummy. I had a beef tongue tacos plate. It was very delicious, meat was juicy and tender. Friend ordered a mixed plate with chicken and shrimp enchiladas. It's all tasted so good.Juliana waitress was so sweet, accommodating, nice, and helpful. Thank you for the great service, Juliana! We will be back .

First tried this place through Grubhub and had a fantastic experience, so much so that we decided to go to the restaurant and experience it first hand. When we arrived we we the only customers in the location and we’re immediately greeted with a smile and a warm, friendly welcome. The team member behind the counter had exceptional customer service and satisfaction skills. We hand the Surf & turf, carne asada burrito and 4 rolled tacos along with chips, salsa and a side of mole sauce. Everything was delicious. The mild red salsa reminded me of what my mother used to make.We will definitely be coming back.

First time trying El Zarape picked up to go. Customer service wasn’t as welcoming, they had a bit of attitude and I requested at least 4-5 salsas since I got 3 entrees, but was only given 2. The red salsa containers aren’t even filled up. I was lucky to get 3 drops of hot sauce on my food thanks. Rolled tacos were ok just had guacamole not lettuce like other places. Carne asada fries and California burrito not great. Fries had a weird after taste and burrito portion wasn’t the best. The meat wasn’t seasoned and cut very very thinly so it looked like there was a lot but not really. Overall probably wouldn’t go again.

The girl who took my order has zero customer service. Then I made sure to ask for beans on my pollo asado fries and repeated it three times along with asking to repeat my order. When my boyfriend got there, he greeted her and she said nothing but a bad face expression. there were no beans on my fries. He mentioned it and the cook had the audacity to say “it doesn’t come with beans”. The cook and cashier were both laughing and having a whole conversation. When I got my fries and started eating them, the chicken and the veggies were burnt. Will be contacting the owner or manager to report them and address the issue because they gave burnt food and a terrible experience.

One of my go-to's less than a 5 min walk from my house. I'd drive here for the Carne Asada tacos (alway on flour tortillas) and the surf & turf burritos. The "green" & "hot" salsas are some of the best I've had as a San Diego native of almost 38 years. You can order online and the food's ready in about 10 minutes. I could cook many of these foods at home but I find myself choosing the Eatery... a lot. 5/5 recommend!

I ordered Camarones ala diabla. Mean super spicy shrimp the main course is shrimp and super spicy sauce and the sauce was watered down the ingredients weren’t even blended the garlic tomatoes and chilies were chopped and not blended and the shrimp wasn’t cooked well. I still ate it because I paid for it and did not wanna throw away my money. Not worth the money

Very "okay".Got a shrimp burrito and chicken taco plate. Burrito was pretty small for the price point. The tortilla was gummy and flavorless, not browned to maintain structural integrity. The contents was solely shrimp, white sauce, and Pico which made for a total mess. Could use some cabbage or rice to absorb the sauce. I will say the amount of shrimp was very good for the price point. The chicken in the tacos was flavorless and dry, rice and beans as well.I still want to go back and try the breakfast burritos, but I was saddened by our initial experience.
