Okay so I found this place here on Yelp in search for a really good sushi restaurant and I believe I found what I was looking for! The ambiance is hip, modern and welcoming! The service is outstanding! From the minute we're were seated our server was extremely friendly and excited for us to try the sushi dishes! He gave us very good recommendations! We ordered the live uni and it was amazing! We continued with their spicy garlic edamame, spicy yellowtail roll, and half moon roll and all were impressively fresh! We are definitely returning to this place for good sushi!

My first time at Full Moon was awesome! i came her on a reservation for my anniversary and it was fantastic. the food was delicious, and while the price seemed a bit steep i'd say it was worth it as everything tasted fresh with good flavor combos. they also gave us a little anniversary dessert which felt special and made the night. great place!

My favorite sushi spot! I’ve had sushi all over the world and this is by fair my favorite spot. I’m usually a very picky eater and don’t go too adventurous on maki rolls, but I’d trust any roll by this place with my life. They’re all soo delicious! They also do have more basic rolls and the service is fantastic! They’re very accommodating. I saw two people see the menu and not stay which I understand the menu seems intimating but literally best spot!! Cannot suggest/ recommend/ hype this spot up more!Atmosphere is also fantastic! Nice cozy intimate spot with the great cocktails too!

We slid in at the bar for some sake and bites after a fun show at the Balboa theater. Staff is super attentive and all of the dishes are meticulously plated. Very unassuming from the outside, but you will be blown away by the quality and freshness.

Great sushi place in downtown San Diego! The sushi rolls we had were amazing and the oysters were outstanding!! I would recommend this place the ambiance was great on the weekend music was loud enough were you can hear one another. Our chief Luis gave us great service!!

I have officially found my favorite sushi restaurant in SD! The atmosphere is very nice and intimate. Good place for a night out with friends or that special someone. Our waiter was very friendly and patient. There was an honest mistake with one of our orders and the waiter actually offered us drinks to make up for the mistake. I haven’t experienced service like this in a long time , let alone here in SD so we really appreciated that. I will be coming here again and I encourage you to check it out as well , you won’t be disappointed!

The sailor moon roll is the best sushi I've ever had in my travels from LA to Hawaii to Tokyo. The other sushi ranged from good to great. My only complaint was they worked so hard to make beautiful food and then the lights were so dim that you couldn't properly see all the effort they put into the food.It was an amazing experience, and I think that sailor moon roll is gonna stick in my mind for the foreseeable future.

Interesting take on conventional sushi with some unique inventive signature dishes. Probably want to arrive before the dinner rush as they get busy quickly without a reservation. The staff are attentive and helpful. It can get quite expensive with their signature dishes so be mindful about what you order.

Love this restaurant. Master chef Sergio prepares some of the most amazing sushi in San Diego. The Eclipse roll was our favorite but all the other rolls we ordered are delicious.
