Hidden gem. Highly recommend, superior service, high quality variety and good food! Large extensive menu and so many great choices. Happy hour menu is so affordable and amazing. Had a great time celebrating here.

Very expensive
Always worth the premium all you can eat option - the kelbi beef, all the marinades and sauces are excellent, the shio cabbage and garlic rice... My favorite. Thao and the manager were awesome!

Delicious experience. Really loved the food. Restaurant week plus happy hour means we ate a LOT for a reasonable price. Marinades were delicious. Same with sides.
The negative: They have an ignorant policy of requiring the whole party to be present prior to being seated. The restaurant was less than 50% full and I asked to be seated before my friend arrived as I wanted to order a drink and appetizers. They refused until I pushed and asked for a manager. - 1 ⭐️
Cockroach 🪳 in the dining area. I tried so hard to catch it on video, but it moved too fast. When I looked under the tables, it was FILTHY. - 1 ⭐️

Gyukaku used to be one of my favorite spots for authentic Japanese BBQ, but I was very disappointed during my recent visit. The food quality has noticeably declined—everything tasted like it came straight from the freezer.

Amazing Japanese BBQ. Nice and cool inside on a hot day made the grill in front of you no problem while you cook up a delicious meal. The only thing that could probably due with a rework is the dessert with the white chocolate chips and matcha fondue. Takes a while to melt and the pay off didn't seem great. Everything else about the meal was 10/10.

I went there with two friends for birthday dinner 5:30pm Tuesday. No reservation made but easy to get a seat. Food, drink, and meat are ok. Atmosphere is good.
We ordered the basic all you can eat combo $45/person. During the ordering we ordered a beef tongue which automatically bumped up the combo to $68/person we didn't know.
Be very very careful on what you ordered since the waiter who servicing you will not tell you until you get your bill. The waiter neither will tell you that. We keep reordering from the $45 menu without knowing were were bump up to $68.
We made the mistake and explained to the manager. Luckily the manager verified that we only ordered from $45 menu except the tongue and he adjusted the bill.
I'll say we just had a incompetent waiter tonight.

We came here around noon on a weekday. It wasn’t busy, so we were seated right away. The lunch combo was okay, but the most important thing about any restaurant is cleanliness. Unfortunately, everywhere at this location was dirty and greasy. The tongs were not cleaned properly, the sauce plate still had oily stains and marks, and even the glass of water had a lipstick stain on it. Very disappointing and makes me question the hygiene here. Def not coming back.

This is one of the best KBBQ experiences I have ever had! Absolutely love the open fire concept and the fact that they have fans that pull the smoke under so you don’t leave smelling like meat! The food was incredible! The service was amazing! They were accommodating of my gastric sleeve surgery and pregnancy! The waiter we had was just so sweet I wish I caught his name but the hostess said he was new and training I couldn’t tell. The pricing was well worth it, quality of the meat, the taste the atmosphere! Amazing! Can’t wait to go back!

I called around 3:30pm to ask about reservation and the reception person said they can’t make a reservation for party under six people and there should be no line if we walk in around 5pm. So we drove 30 min to the restaurant and got there at 4:42. The reception person said there’s too many reservations and the wait time is around 2 hours. The management of the restaurant is really terrible. I won’t waste my time again.
