Small, upscale coffee spot with friendly baristas, delicious coffee, and amazing food. The Brie toast with mango habanero jam was amazing!

Will probably need to find a new place even though I love! There’s never any seats and even though i myself get some work done there occasionally, last time one small table had 4 laptops and it felt like it’s gotten a lot crazier. I’m so so glad to see the success but now with folks driving over from other areas, us folks who live next door can’t really enjoy.Perhaps they can expand into the old Twiggs spot! ??

The 1&1 is an incredible 2 for 1 drink, I wish more coffee shops did something like this. So so tasty!

Ahhhhh such an cutie little spot on Adam's avenue! Got the pumpkin spice latte and plain bagel with cream cheese and it was perfect! Coffee was amazing and the bagel was what you'd expect from a bagel! The outdoor tables are really nice too since it's such a cute street :)) will be back for sure!

Good tasting latte, but nothing made my day like a slight dig at Taylor Swift.

Loved Hawthorn. Coffee and chai were amazing. Vibe was a bit hipster / crowded but could have been the day / time. I’ll be back

Hawthorn Coffee has become my go-to coffee shop in the neighborhood that my pup and I visit now on our walks. They have great coffee drinks, food, and everyone that works here has been very kind and welcoming. They're located on Adams Ave, and they have (somewhat limited) indoor and outdoor seating available. I tend to go in the early morning and it can get busy, but the atmosphere is pretty laid back which I appreciate. So far, I've tried the lavender thyme latte, salted caramel latte, and their chai. I've enjoyed all three, though I think the lavender thyme is my favorite. You can bring your own mug/cup for to-go orders. They also have a selection of pastries in a case up front, and breakfast foods like bagels, toasts, etc. Every time I have visited, the baristas have been very friendly and attentive. I think they are even starting to recognize my pup, and they always offer treats to her. I'm really happy that we found this little coffee shop in the neighborhood! I highly recommend visiting and supporting this local coffee shop if you're in the area!

Coffee was pretty good and the service was good but definitely could've been better, they forgot my girlfriends drink and she sat for quite sometime and I feel they could've made things better but didn't. But I digress, I don't want to tarnish a business for one mistake they made, so here's for hoping for a better experience next time! Anyway, the coffee was great and the croissant was super good too!

As an ex-Melburnian, this place knows how to pour one hell of a cuppa. Was immediately transported back to a café that I used to frequent when living in Melbourne's east boroughs. I've been in SD just over a year and am extremely gutted to find this gem just when I'm leaving for another country. :( Keep the kickass pours going and thanks for the memories!!
