I ordered two plates of afang soup with pounded yam because I was craving Nigerian food, and it cost me $38 just to get home and find out there wasn't even meat in it, just little pieces of dry fish scattered in it (not even fresh fish smh). Why would I want to order a plate of soup if there isn't any meat or actual fish in it? I ended up buying 3 other little items and I was charged almost $100 in total. Scam

COVID-19 REVIEW: There aren't much reviews for this restaurant, but to be fair, they just opened. Been waiting to try fufu since jt started trending on Tiktok, and this is the only place on Yelp that confirmed to have it. Don't be deceived by the exterior look, there is a kitchen behind the market area. Their customer service was great! They had someone come up to us while we were looking at the menu. We've never ordered African food before, so they were able to answer any questions we had. The wait time was a bit long, but they gave us free water which we did not expect. When they opened the food, you could smell all the spices. The food was hot even after driving all the way home. They presented it nicely as well and it was so delicious. Fufu might not be for everyone, so it depends on your taste (my siblings did not favor it), but I would definitely recommend this place if you want to try it. I would come here again!

I placed an order yesterday because it said open. I got charged twice because I repeated my order because I thought the QMenu app was broken when I didn’t get a confirmation. I drove by after waiting for my order to be confirmed only to see the place is closed.Why do they not have ‘closed’ on their profile instead of letting people orders and expect food that will never arrive. Plus, the phone keeps ringing and no one is picking. At least, leave a recorded message on the answering machine so we know you’re closed and not taking orders.I hope I get my money back.

Scam artist of a "restaurant". Ordered online to see that they're currently renovating and my order didn't go through. Their kitchen was exposed while dust and debris was through the air. Supposedly this renovation is due to new management but what management would allow this? Exposed kitchens? Serving food while renovating? Greeting customers and serving them without masks.

I should have read the comments before going there. Let's start with the positives. I gave this place two stars both are for the food. I had fried plantains and fried fish. That was great!Let's move on to the negatives. First of all, I decided to Uber because when I went there the first time, I couldn't find a parking spot. Their website clearly stated that they were open for dine in. When I arrived there, a rude lady told me they were only open for take out! I Ubered there for nothing!Next, the impolite, rude, less than good cashier/cook was so snobby, I thought she was giving away free food! I understand she might be overworked, putting her in both the front and the back, but how is that my fault?!Will I go back there? No, but I will certainly order online. The portions are in fact small, but they tastes good.

Walked in greeted the older lady, she didn't seem to be happy working. I should have followed the reviews, customer service was poor, portions are small, and due to no availability parking near i parked far and was told to wait outside in my car, asked if I could bring a chair out to sit in front was told no to come back in and pick up my food and see other customers sitting at the table,the table I asked to wait at, and for that I will not spend a dime here again. I see why the ratings are poor. Please do not order from here. Customers are what keep your business thriving.

Put in an order for takeout. The website said they’re open. Everywhere says they’re open. I got charged 55$ drove 25 minutes to the place & the restaurant is closed. Bars on door. No lights on. I would like my $ back.

10/19/2020 My husband found a huge fly in his food, that same day he got a terrible stomach ache. We had to throw such expensive food away.09/2020 My husband drove about 20 mins to their location to buy three items. He didn't even bother to look at their receipt because as an African to another, why would he? As soon as he gets home and checks his account, he noticed that the cashier, who was a lady, charged him $600!!! She made this mistake because she was was on the phone while ringing his items up. Thank God he saved his receipt, he normally does not however, when he called her back there was nothing she could do to compensate his trip (another 20 min) over their mistake. Terrible customer service.On many occasions we have had to drive distances just to buy their ready made food and Nigerian ingredients; For every trip we make there, they have been very rude. We have been very patient about it but after finding the fly in our food along with the incredible transaction that was made, we will never buy their food again. I hope they see this and I hope they reconsider their approach to their loyal and patient customers. We have had enough, like some people had mentioned here, they really do treat us as if we are begging for food. Abeg!
