Love this mom and pop noodle spot. Owner / chef always got a smile on and comes out to ask how is everything. I always get the phnom penh noodles dry style. Absolutely love the pork bone soup you get on the side. This spot is definitely a hidden gem with an at home feeling. Service may be slow when its busy but you got to appreciate their hustle for only 2 people working!

I love the food from Ly Heng, they are unique in lot of way (cooking method, flavor, the soup), when you order an item, the item will come look exactly same as the menu, very appetizing. Both chicken wing and calamari appetizer are flavorful with right amount of garlic and pepper to boost the aroma. Then come to the best part, the bone soup. When you order ride dish, usually it will come with a bowl of pork bone soup, the meat are very tender and tasty, the soup have good amount of fish sauce to help on the umami side.Every rice dish is huge, but Hainan chicken and combination fried rice are my favorite by far.

The food was stellar me and my friend all enjoyed what we got! Before I go further into details, the portions are huge and it's priced very well!I got the Beef Luc Lac which was served with this rich and satisfying sauce, and on top of that, the bone broth that came with our orders was equally amazing! The flavors were super layered and I loved it!The service was good and so was the ambience; I have nothing to complain about.I highly recommend this place!

Have you ever tasted food that made you want to cry because it brought you to the gates of heaven? We'll i can now say I have. I never ate at a Cambodian restaurant and now all I want to do is to try more or visit Cambodia. Order the beef bone broth. The rich flavor and the generous portion of meat that is so tender is what hits your soul. The prices are inexpensive. I wasn't allowed to place an order to go so we had to eat there. They do provide togo boxes if you can't finish.

Nestled in the vibrant city of San Diego, this delightful restaurant offers an unforgettable experience of authentic Cambodian cuisine. As a frequent patron, I can confidently say that the quality here remains consistently excellent. The service provided by the attentive and friendly staff is deserving of a perfect 5/5 rating. TheThe true star of the show is, undoubtedly, the food. From the irresistible salt and pepper chicken wings with their perfect crispiness and flavorful seasoning, to the comforting Phnom Penh Noodles that combine tender meat, fresh herbs, and just the right amount of spice, each dish is a testament to the rich flavors of Cambodia. Don't forget to sip on their homemade Thai Tea, a refreshing companion to the meal. The cozy ambiance, although worthy of a solid 4/5 rating, could benefit from a few minor improvements. Nevertheless, this San Diego gem is a must-visit for anyone seeking an authentic Cambodian culinary adventure.

Food was good, I got the beef and rice. Great sauce, a bit sweet but good. Service was friendly, nothing special. Good quantity for the price, worth a visit.
