We went for late afternoon cocktails and burgers. Good selection and quality products. Service was very attentive.

The food was pretty good, and we took our pup, but it is pretty overpriced. The outdoor seating is not that great and I feel like they kind of forgot we were there

Excellent food, service and spot! Had the machaca breakfast and it was perfect. Also ordered at the table was the s'mores French toast which was incredible! Definitely recommend this place!

If this review shows as edited, that's because I accidentally clicked the post button before getting to writing down the ACTUAL review I had intended to do, a mistake on my part.We sat down for breakfast at about 10:00 AM today, and we were seated promptly, our waiter was a really friendly bald man whose name I forgot to ask. He was really attentive and came to check on us regularly, I also saw him checking up on other patrons. We ordered two cups of coffee and an order of the Chicken Fried Steak and Eggs, one over medium, one over easy. The coffee was some of the best we've ever had at a restaurant. The chicken fried steak and home fried potatoes were nice and crispy the sausage gravy was delicious, and the potatoes came fried with red and green bell pepper and onion. The potatoes were crispy on the outside, and fluffy on the inside, incredibly flavorful. The eggs were cooked exactly as we wanted it.The staff was wonderful, everyone we interacted with was friendly, and they really paid attention to the customers. This place is pretty high up on my list of favorite places to eat in San Diego. We are DEFINITELY coming back to eat here again! It's nice to have a restaurant of this quality in my neighborhood and that is easy to walk to as there isn't many sit down restaurants in the area. I regret not coming to eat here sooner!

This place was recommended to me by friends a while back, and now I wish I'd come here sooner!I ordered the torta chilanga and asked to substitute my fries with mashed potatoes, and I have zero regrets. At first I was a bit worried about the mashed potatoes being bland, but this was far from the case. I usually love my tortas with salsa, but this one was so good and flavorful that it wasn't even necessary! All in all a great first experience, the servers were very kind and accommodating. I will definitely be back!

I was looking for something beyond the usual chain breakfast spots in San Diego, and this place exceeded my expectations. It was my first time here, and I wasn't disappointed. The service was outstanding across the board, from the hostess to the waitstaff and bussers, and there was no wait! The atmosphere was incredibly welcoming, which was a refreshing change. The restaurant has plenty of space inside and offers a diverse menu. I'm eager to return and try more of their dishes. The drink menu is impressive, featuring everything from bloody Mary's to mimosa flights and micheladas. I ordered the chicken fried steak, and it was one of the best I've had in San Diego. I can't wait to come back and bring more friends to experience this hidden gem!

When I go to Maggie's, I always order a Guac Burger. Their food is always so good and the portion is great when it comes to sharing. However, the last couple of times that we have gone out to dinner as a family, I find that our food has been lukewarm and the portion for the fries are so little. It's not the way I remembered it the first time. I try to be understanding that with a big group, our food could be sitting under a warmer until all the food is ready but I'm not sure. I love this place, but it's not the first place that comes to mind anymore.

Went with entire family. We live close and often ate here.Last time, I ordered fish and chips. It was the same prefabbed triangle pieces that I pick up at Costco. Horrible. We have not and will not return.
