I remember coming here when it used to be more cozy with more dessert options. It is more modern now but you can still enjoy yourselves. We tried the creme brulee with perfectly caramelized crunchy sugar and fruit pieces on top. Also the custard dip - great for sharing, Soy matcha latte was good, not too sweet. Nice to have water fountain and plastic cups.

At first glance: I saw photos of this place online and was looking for something just like it (a fruit dessert place). Indoors there is a spacious seating area with a mango tree being the center piece. The place is decorated quite nice and had a very good vibe. Food: Mango kakigori: 9.3/10 Amazing! The shaved ice itself has a very mellow but sweet taste and you can really taste the freshness of the mangoes. The two side sauces (mango jam sauce & condensed milk) provide a change to the flavor enhancing the already pleasant tang of the mango ice. The homemade puff cream on top was to die for. Oh Man Go: 8.7/10 A very nice platter that allow you to try the traditional mango sticky rice combo as well as mango pudding and mango ice cream. The mango ice cream was a bit overwhelming considering the restaurant is called "Mngo Cafe". The ice cream tastes like any you can get from the store. I do applaud the fresh mango with the different sticky rices. The spongy texture of the rice combined with the juicy mango creates a pleasant surprise. The mango pudding was a little bland but still decent. Service: The service was a bit lacking in attention and creating a welcoming atmosphere.

Why are you wasting time reading this review? You need to be on your way already to this amazing place! Mango with coconut cream smoothie is to die for! Sticky rice and mango brûlée are also my top choices! Mangos are always ripe & fresh! Friendly staff as well.

It is very soft to a point it melts in your mouth and not feel the ice anymore. It melts instantly and gives you the immediate taste of mango sweetness. You have to dig deep for mango and mochi. We were 6 and enough to fill half a cup. It was too sweet for my liking but the mango was on the sour side because maybe it is not season yet. They also offer macarons. This is something I would recommend for you to taste but not something i would crave for considering the price and the mango they used. You got to add their sauce on the side if you want it to be sweet or "make" your own flavor.

Such a cute little place that makes anything/everything mango, our favorite fruit! So many different things you can try here and plenty of seating inside/parking spots outside. In the past, we've always ordered the mango sago because that one is our favorite. But today, we switched it up. The mango smoothie was fresh and rejuvenating. My wife ordered the mango coconut cream smoothie and it was instant love lol! But the cherry on top was the Mango/Sticky rice. We had to savor every bite because we didn't want it to end. Such a perfect duo and the best afternoon snack ever. Still want to try the Mango Matcha smoothie and OMG next time we go. We'll be back soon!!

Love the Kakigori here! We ordered the Mango Kakigori and it was so delicious. The condensed milk and mango jam toppings were such a great addition. It was not too sweet and perfect for mango-lovers like me. Chunks of real mango was underneath the shaved ice which was a nice surprise. The Kakigori was light and fluffy and perfect for the hot summer day.

MNGO Cafe was my go to dessert place in Convoy. Their mango sago is perfectly done, as well as their mango kakigori. Everything has a bold and unique aesthetic which goes with the amazing vibes of the place.

Stopped by on a whim for a quick dessert. I've always been a big fan of mango sticky rice so it would've been hard to pass this up! We ordered the OMG plate. The rice had a nice sweet texture which complimented the mango well. Overall, the serving size was rather small and delicate but the taste was still good! Would definitely opt for one of their specialty mango drinks if I were to come again! Nice interior decor though.

You cannot visit MNGO just once simply because there's so many good stuff to try out. I'm envious of locals here having such a place like MNGO. Not sure what else needs to be said that hasn't already been mentioned. Cute faux mango tree in the middle of the room with yellow plush seat cushions surrounding it. All you social media/Instagrammers will enjoy photo ops. The menu can be a bit intimidating and overwhelming. There's many different varieties of Kakiori (Japanese shaved ice) to choose from...you got your matcha, mango, taro, strawberry etc. Beautiful presentation...once again...social media and your Instagram account will love this. And then you got your variety of sweets from sundaes, mango or taro sago with ice cream, cheesecakes, macarons etc. The second half of the menu are the drinks. Oh mannnn....I wanted to try so many. From the sea salt vietnamese cold brew coffee, milk teas, matcha thai tea, espresso thai tea, matcha with strawberry puree and they even got refreshing teas for those who like it simple. The male cashier on Saturday afternoon was patient with me when I told him it's my first time here. He gave me recommendations on what he likes/dislikes and suggested what he thinks what additions will go well with what drink. I ended up ordering a matcha thai tea with no dairy. This drink was nice and strong without the matcha giving off a bitter taste despite not having any milk to blend. Wish we had more time while visiting SD so we can try the mango sago w/coconut ice cream. Also wanted to try the butterfly pea coco drink. Great spot for dessert, wish we had something like this in Vegas.

My friends and I were having lunch at Phuong Trang and I saw MNGO cafe next door. I was so excited to try this place for dessert. Mango is one of my favorite fruits and I am still on a hunt for a really good mango dessert place. I have been let down a couple times so I'm a little hesitant now to even try. We ordered Brulee & Rice and Mango Kakigori. For drinks I got the Mango Passion Fruit Tea. The mango passion fruit tea had a lot of chunks inside and way too sweet for my liking. It wasn't really refreshing and had a very syrupy taste. For the mango brulee, the mango was perfectly sweet and yummy. I loved the mango brulee and wish they sold it by itself because I wasn't a fan of the sticky rice.

MNGO is a yummy dessert spot! They have lots of variety in their dessert selection. I got the OMG dessert that comes with sticky rice, mango, ice cream, and a mango jelly. I LOVE fresh mango! I enjoyed all the different parts of the dessert together. It wasn't overly sweet, the sticky rice provided a nice balance. It was overall a pretty light dessert. I saw on the menu they also have drinks and boba. My friends got a kakigori ice dessert and they really enjoyed it! They have something for everyone. I was surprised to find it was busy at 8pm on a Wednesday, so there was a bit of a wait for our orders. But overall, I would return!

What a trendy Asian Fusion dessert cafe! Kakigori, Mango Sticky Rice, Thai Tea, Macarons, Butterfly Pea, Smoothies... There's so many options!+ OMG: The mango pudding is so tasty! Very firm and jiggly. I definitely recommend getting this with coconut ice cream! It tastes homemade and pairs excellently with the mango sticky rice. They also give tri-colored sticky rice, which is super cute. My biggest critique is that the coconut milk sauce is very salty.+ Trio Custard Dip: A little pricey for what it is. Honestly... it's just toasted King's Hawaiian buns with Thai Tea, Ube, and Pandan custard. Very simple, but delicious! The pandan custard dip was definitely the best one.Very spacious inside (lots of seating available) and they get quite busy, so plan accordingly if you come visit with friends. There can be a line out the door!

6-24-22 You might know how much I enjoy bingsu on Fridays. Guess what? Today IS Friday and Doc told us she wanted us to try this branch of Mngo Cafe. The "a" is missing from the word mango on purpose. Cute, superior choices, we must have debated over 5 minutes cuz the selections are very different you need to read the descriptions carefully. Hubs chose a smoothie, Doc had the OMG sampler and I tried what looked like a deluxe shave ice in a glass bowl that had 3 layers; custard on bottom, mango in the middle, covered by ultra light, soft to the tongue that didn't give you a brain freeze snow for lack of a better word. Two tiny ramekins of different sauces to pour over your cold creation. The top has a denser whipped cream with a perhaps edible flower. Dang, if I lived here this would be my ultimate dessert place to come on my Friday dessert cheat day. Doc said usually this place is packed but luckily we came on a weekday at the right time. This is the BEST place to get some refreshment located in Convoy. Come be blown away here: delici- o-so!!!
