Ordered curry vegetarian ramen and was served beef. No apology or discount. Just a long wait for my food to come while my partner ate. Once it came out, the tofu was raw and very cold- straight out of the fridge. Terrible experience. The restaurant was freezing. It was a cold, rainy day and they were blasting the AC.The Mira Mesa location is great, though. It has impossible chicken for the ramen (this location does not) and great service.

A great place to eat delicious Roman! It looks more like a cozy family kitchen place rather than a restaurant but the food makes the difference... Go crazy with hot #3, egg is a must!

I almost always get the GGG! It is perfectly balanced and loaded with garlic flavor!

Service was terrible. Refused to sit our party together, rude waitress (manager was fairly nice), then charged us large party gratuity. Will never return.

Super good ramen but be aware it's superrr busy during dinner time! They have a sign out saying there is a time limit when eating to ensure they are able to get people in and out.I got the nishiki ramen with egg which is just the classic tonkotsu ramen which is a more simple ramen but so delicious! The egg was cooked well and the pork was delicious - I wish it had a bit more flavoring. We also ordered some potstickers and they were tasty but the sauce was not what I was expecting. It was a thick bbq almost sauce. I'm use to the soy sauce kind of dipping sauce they give you so this was a surprise but it was yummy. We ordered it to go pick up on the website and it was ready on the dot of what the estimated time was.Was still hot after almost an hour from getting it but man it's always a fight to open those containers. Be careful when opening themVegetarian options: handful of vegan/vegetarian optionsParking: small lot that fills up quickly

It's a pity, but this is the only place in San Diego where you can enjoy Japanese-style ramen, and the hot soup tastes good.

Tasty, but wish that I hadn't paid $20 for a smoke bomb ramen for there to be no pork anywhere to be found in my soup!

Went to get lunch there the other day. Service was quick and food was good.I got the shoyu ramen with an egg. I normally get tonkotsu, but wanted something a little lighter. The noodles were cooked well and the broth was flavorful. The iced matcha drink really helped to cut down the oiliness of the broth. My wife got the black ramen and it was super rich. Overall great food.

Sorry….the gyoza got me and I’m so sad…They should call it “fried dumplings “ not gyoza.I am a Japanese… I know what “Gyoza” supposed to look and taste like.

Nishiki Ramen is my favorite ramen in the world. I visited Japan and had some bomb ramens that were on-par with Nishiki, but I will always have a soft spot for Nishiki. The slow egg is always marinated to perfection, the noodles are thin and al-dente, the garnish is always on-point. I always get the Notorious GGG and it's hard to switch to any other ramen (despite that they all taste good). The strong garlic is always great and comforting, and I even add a little of their homemade hot sauce to give it a kick.

Love coming here for lunch. Usually not too crowded around noon. Been here a few times myself and just sat right at the bar areas. Great ramen and lots of options. The noodles are always cooked just right. I've been to a few others and it seems the noodles were undercooked. My favorites are the spicy Akuma and regular Tonkotsu. My GF loves the miso ramen. Gyoza is great appetizer option. Highly recommend.

I came here with my mom. The Takoyaki was kind of gross and undercooked. The batter was very wet and only cooked on the outside. The ramen was fair, there are definitely better options within walking distance. Canned corn, overcooked egg, and oily broth. I'd rather get ramen from the frozen section of the Asian market and spend 1/4 of the price. $63 for two bowls of ramen and Takoyaki.I was also rubbed the wrong way on the 18% taxable service fee. I would much rather tip my usual 21-25% and not be taxed on my tip. The servers actually get more of the money instead of the government double dipping and getting 8%+ off of 18% and then taxing the staff as income on their tips.
