Oh this place, as the saying goes, that's my jam! (that's slang for music (i.e., jam), not fruit preserves BTW...?). $20 bucks gets you a large bowl, and 4 selections of fish. The complementary goodies, is also comprehensive and there is no added charge for avocado - woo hoo! All-in-all, the food tastes great and as far as value goes when buying poki, this place is aces. The verdict, two thumbs up!

I love the food at this place! The parking lot has a lot of parking, but it can be quite crowded since it is near several popular spots: Starbucks, Mitsuwa, Ross, Dollar Tree and many more. The service is fine. They have 1 restroom that is usually pretty clean. The counter to order at starts at the end of the store near the restroom, so when there is a line it can be quite confusing. There isn't much seating inside, as it is pretty narrow, but there are a few tables outside. Worth trying if you haven't tried poké before. Their sauces have something for everyone! They are pretty delicious; their fire poke sauce with ponzu mixed is a favorite of mine. We come here a ton! I would recommend.

Real, FRESH ingredients with variety and good portion. Only took 3 bites and already know this is the best spot in SD to me so far.

I used to absolutely love and crave this place. I went for the first time in a long while and was disappointed with the quality, value for my money, and taste. I ordered pickup and didn't see them make my bowl, but there was silver skin on the tuna, mostly filler ingredients like rice and greens with not much protein, my fish didn't taste like it had been sauced at all with my requested sauces, the krab isn't the California crab mix anymore, just shredded imitation crab. They took masago and albacore off the menu, which were 2 of my favorites. Overall, such a bummer of an experience. I've had a lot of good ones, but too many changes along with a price hike will force me to go elsewhere for poke next time. There are a lot of options in SD.

Good price, good selection.Edit: I wrote that years ago, since then they have raised prices to be one of the most expensive poke places around, and the last few times I went it seemed like a lot of the ingredients were either old or not ripe, or given in weird proportions. It really went downhill, and there's plenty of better options.

The combination of fresh seafood and vegetables makes it a healthy food that is sufficient as a meal replacement. It is especially recommended for customers who use To Go to save on tips.

Perhaps the best poke I've had!!! The portions are very generous for the price. I loved the variety of protein options (lobster, octopus??!) and that avocado was free of charge. The person who was serving me and my friend was incredibly nice and helpful as we asked questions about the lobster mix, etc since my friend had never tried any poke before. Seeing my bowl and how easily he explained her questions, she was convinced to try and she fell in love. He also was so generous when I asked for extra scoops of certain toppings.Overall, amazing flavors, portions, and service. I would definitely return! I can not recommend this place highly enough.

Girl working at 12:45 today needs to get a new job with no customers to bother her. She was so rude. Will make sure to find another poke place to avoid getting her attitude again! Asked for extra garlic and sesame seeds. Was apparently too much to ask. Barely got any of each.
