Came to meet up with a friend here a few weeks ago and we showed up right when the kitchen closed. If you are looking to go on the top bar of the bar, they are closed until late spring/early summer. When I showed up, the upstairs was still not open for you to go. So we just sat at the table where the buddha was along the wall. I think the ambience is really nice and it would be a great place for you to have dates or gatherings while still being able to hear what others are saying.

Went here during the Adams unplugged event so it was standing room only. Very pretty, modern decor and open breezy spaces. Friendly and good looking bartenders who know their stuff, even rare cocktails.

Rally fun vibe in Normal Heights!! They allow doggos and had a music event when we came. It was a bit crowded and went out the door but they have plenty of beer and a few mixed drinks on the menu. Very open space (with open windows) that I enjoyed!

I went with a few friends for lunch and was greeted by a server as soon as I entered. There was plenty of seating and bar seats as well. The garage style doors make the restaurant feel open but it was a bit too breezy so luckily they were able to close them. The service was great and our food and drinks came fast. We got the Korean asada fries which were hot when served. The fries were crispy, the steak was tender and served medium well, the jalapeños were spicy and pretty big, and the sauce brought it all together. The portion is perfect for 2 people to share. I also got the abnormal heights Thai milk tea with boba and cognac. It was delicious but definitely tasted like alcohol. The boba was soft and chewy which surprised me.Be prepared for metered street parking and come hungry!

Food: My girlfriend and I ordered fried chicken bao buns, lemongrass ribs, and chicken lettuce wraps. The ribs and chicken wraps had good flavors and fixed my Asian cravings.. but will skip the chicken bao next time. Note, if you're looking to share, the bao buns and ribs came in 3 so it was a little awkward to share between 2. Service: Stopped by for late lunch on a Sunday afternoon, restaurant was a bit sleepy so it didn't excuse such slow service. Server had maybe 3-4 tables to attend to and we didn't get asked about a refill on our drinks (perfect upsell opportunity) or checked on for 15 mins. FYI: Rooftop does not open until the summer!

When their roof bar is open 10/10, they also have some of the best drinks I’ve had yet. The staff is also quite helpful. I’d recommend to anyone when the roof is open, I wish it were year round.

Super cool. We had to ask for a few things to make it really nice and they responded very well. Great service as well, the food. Do it asap!

I only come here for the chicken bao buns and just recently tried the skirt steak bao buns. If there’s one thing you should order, please let it be the chicken bao buns!! It’s so filling and texturally so perfect. You have the crunchy fried chicken, paired with the spicy mayo and pickled vegetables. Chefs kiss. It also pairs so perfectly with whatever drink you decide on. My friends and I also like to order the Korean asada fries as a snack to share. Honestly, most of the menu is centered around family style. The other dishes are tasty, but let’s be real - the bao buns are the star of the show.

Tiki drinks and Asian fusion food?! That is RIGHT up my alley. The drinks were all great. I loved the Day Trader and Business Casual. I think the Business Casual could be made better with a Tajin rim but it's also great as-is. We got salt and pepper wings, the Korean asada fries and the drunken noodles. Everything was super delicious! The wings are not Royal Mandarin but still very good! Loved the candles at the table and the low light. We were also able to walk-in easily on a Friday night. Definitely on the short list now for a regular nice spot for dinner! The service was also attentive and friendly. Pretty great all-around!

Food and cocktails are always top notch in this beautiful space. The bartender was so helpful in helping me find my new favorite cocktail. I love to bring anyone I can drag along with me!

I was looking for a cute rooftop bar when I stumbled across this place and I'm glad I did. Let's start off with the drinks. I had the Dark Magician and my friend had some mezcal drink and let me tell you these were pretty strong. If you're from SD you know most places have pretty weak drinks. Onto the food. We ordered the calamari, spring rolls, honey walnut shrimp, the steak bao buns and the sticky bbq ribs. All were amazing but the bao buns and ribs are an absolute must try! Unfortunately it was cloudy when we went so we weren't able to catch a good sunset but we'll definitely be back!

Went to Ska Bar Friday night and it definitely won't be the last time I go. The drinks were delicious. The cream cheese and crab egg rolls....there are no words to how good they were. We had to get two orders. Our waitress was nice and gave recommendations when we asked. Parking was a bit of a challenge but I'm still new to the area and know that taking an Uber or Lyft in this area is probably a better idea. It was quiet when we arrived around 630 but came to life as the evening progressed. I enjoyed watching the bartenders make cocktails because they looked like they were enjoying themselves. Cant wait to go back.

Came here on a Friday night, we were a group of 4. It was pretty lively and the noise level I'd say was like a medium to high. We started off with some drinks I went for an Atari's Lantern which reminded me of an Old Fashion just slightly sweeter IMO. The other drinks we ordered were the Dark Magician and the Crane Kick; everyone enjoyed them. The food tho, A-1!!! everything was delicious. This is what we ordered: -Spring Rolls (7/10), Crab Cream Cheese Eggrolls (6/10). Bao Buns with the crispy chicken (9/10), Sticky Ribs (10/10), Wings (10/10), Drunken Noodles were by far the fave! They had a kick and had little pieces of pork belly in them. Overall it was a great experience! Will definitely be visiting again when in town!
