Great offerings and not priced badly for those offerings. Great food well stocked and servers kept tables clear and drunks filled.

Fairly typical Chinese all-you-can-eat buffet restaurant with a decent selection of dishes. At $16.5 per person, it’s a bargain when most lunch specials cost $12-13 in San Diego. The restaurant was about 40% full on Tuesday at lunch time. The he diners took popular dishes quickly, but the trays were also quickly filled. The resulting is that we got fresh, hot foods. The cooking was fine, the steamed/boiled shrimps were fresh, but the Korean calbi was more than 80% fat, so you have to pick through it.

BE AWARE OF THE TIME YOU COME IN TO EAT HERE!!! My husband and I came in at 3:09 to eat after a doctor's appt. Upon arrival, we asked how much it cost right now and the lady behind the register said, "$16.49 and $2.99 more for a drink." We finished eating at 4:11pm. When we received our bill, the total was just under $54. We questioned it as we were only anticipating for it to be upwards of $33. The lady behind the register said, "We charged you dinner price because you ate the dinner." My husband told them we arrived during lunch and we can't help it if they swapped out some of the lunch trays for dinner items. She said "Yes but you ate the dinner food." ??? My husband was very patient and said that this wasn't fair and we weren't about to pay the dinner price when we got here during lunch. And again he reiterated that if they are going to put the food out, they should expect that people are going to eat it, regardless of what time they come in. They are so focused on charging the higher price because it also happened to the elderly couple behind us! Although we don't have an issue paying the higher price, we just felt it wasn't fair and this is definitely unfair practice as a business to do. Especially the way it was handled. To the owners and staff at Sunrise Buffet: COMMUNICATE with people the correct price! If you are starting dinner soon, inform your customers they will be charged the dinner price. As a reminder, some people cannot afford eating out so be thoughtful to your customers who are choosing to eat at your restaurant. Happy Lunar New Year!

Not a bad place, but the selection wasn't great.Parking: It's in a strip mall with a bunch of other restaurants and the lot at dinner time if packed.
Older buffet restaurant with plenty of seating. Came at 1pm so that might have been my issue. The seafood island was very well picked over by the time I got there. If you like heavy and fried food this place is your nirvana. I will say the food was not overly salted which was surprising. For $18 with water, not a fan. Curiosity satisfied, won't be back.

Nice buffet but food not always hot.Same menu, so you know what to expect. The price for lunch is now $16.95 with a 10% discount for seniors.Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant has two wheel chair ramps, but one looks a little more challenging than the other.
