Plethora of bread & caffeine heaven! The options are so vast and it took a while to pick, which means we will be coming back go try the rest! Had a great time on Sunday AM! Its not fancy,but a good hangout open spot to be with kids and dogs!

Good bakery for rustic baguettes

Nice spot with a good bakery, but everything was extremely sweet - much sweeter than anything I’ve tried even in France. It is definitely not healthy. The latte was also very sweet and had some spices, like pumpkin, which I didn’t ask for.

Coffee is not my taste
Sweets and toast and crape is excellent;
Employees are super nice;
Sandwiches are the best

Great hidden spot in Scripps Ranch area. Love the quality of the food, especially the bread. Owner is an actual French pastry chef, and the food shows it. A definite stop you need to make in the area.

Croissants and Cinnamon roll were dry and stale, $5+ ea. Service is great.

By far the best genuine French bakery in San Diego. Congratulations to Yves and his team for bringing such a gem to us. All of their product are to die for, hard to resist the temptation…

Hands down, one of the best kept secrets in San Diego. We were looking for a place for a coffee date and found The French Oven via a google search. Looked good, so we went. WOW!!! Amazing food. Great coffee and absolutely wonderful staff. We will be making this a regular spot to go!

The BEST place to get breakfast lunch and/or dinner in San Diego. This is the most authentic French bakery on the west coast. They also serve food for any time of day; from soups, salads, sandwiches, coffees and roast dinners.
