Bad service, coffee tastes like warm milk. It was a wast of time and money. Not a good way to start the day. I hope the owner fine better baristas since the place actually look nice.

Changing my review bc the business owner replied and seems chill. I needed my caffeine today and was cranky. I will try again another time.

I want to preface by saying that this is a one-off experience as I’m not writing as a local and thus this review can be biased, but consider this a “first impression” review. It was a short walk from where my friends and I were staying nearby. The aesthetics are very apparent in the photos - that was one of the best parts of the shop. The service was okay; we were ordering five drinks and getting food items as well, but when asking questions of the menu (as I said we are from out of town and thus it was our first time at this particular shop, although all of us are avid coffee drinkers), it started to feel as though we were becoming an inconvenience to the baristas. The responses were a bit stale, but that’s okay - like I said, this is a one-off experience and thus I do wish to give the baristas the benefit of the doubt! Other than the aesthetics/ decor, I loved that the shop seemed to be dog-friendly. It seems a great stop for those walking their dogs or just strolling by who want to stop in and get a cup of coffee or a pastry. The coffee was pretty good as well, no complaints! If I was in the area, I’d consider stopping in again.

Super lame that Grounds only allows 3 people on the wifi at a time. Every time i come to grab a coffee and so some work I can’t even though there is plenty of seats and plenty of room.

I love this place! I go here every weekend. The staff are wonderful and the coffee is very good. It's important to note, though, that the coffee flavor changes a bit depending on which staff makes it. The food is a bit mediocre, but not bad.I feel that this café's biggest flaw is that being inside the building can be very uncomfortable. It lacks a good air conditioning system, so it's always too hot inside and can get a bit humid. The themeing on the inside is very nice, but as soon as a crowd is in there, it can be suffocating to be inside. There is lots of good outdoor seating that's available if you don't want to be inside the building.Parking: It can be difficult to find parking if you're driving here as there's no public access parking lot nearby.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly atmosphere, but keep in mind that it is right nextdoor to a bar.Wheelchair accessibility: It's very difficult to get into the building on a wheelchair if the doors are closed without assistance. The doors open on a slight ramp/hill, they are very heavy, and you have to open both of the doors to fit in because a single door is too narrow for a wheelchair. There is also little-to-no easily accessible wheelchair seating. The staff are very considerate and willing to help if you need assistance getting in and out of the building on a wheelchair or other mobility aid.
Very confusing. Immediately got the sense I was going to regret this interaction, and I did. Seemingly not an adult in the place, four employees behind the counter, but the coffee is horrendous. Ordered an iced latte that was all milk. I mean, all milk. Which I could have looked past had the man child working the register not been so inconvenienced by having to take my order. The attitude in PB is just the worst.

The females that work here were amazing and sweet, however, the guy with the bleached hair and the facial piercings, was on his phone and did VERY little to help the guests or his coworkers.
Super cute coffee shop nestled in Crown Point. They have a variety of options for drinks & decent amount of seating outside

I came on a Wednesday summer afternoon, and it was so hot inside I couldn't focus. No AC running in the customer area and barista said they never run the ac there when I asked if she could turn it on.

Welp...I had the unfortunate luck of finding the one coffee shop in San Diego without air conditioning! They had a fan...but it was pointed at the employees...rightfully so! The person that took my order was super sweet and patient (as usual, I didn't know what I wanted)...the guy that made my coffee was pretty rude but the granola was good and we don't care about rude boys. Coffee was ok. Shop was super cute...if nothing else, it's worth a visit just to see the decor (and get some granola!)

Nice coffee shop in the Crown Point neighborhood of PB! We were craving some coffee after an intense pickleball session and filling lunch nearby. Conveniently strolled to the Grounds. It's street parking but you should be able to find parking within a few blocks. The employees were super friendly. The shop is clean and very trendy. I enjoyed my basic iced coffee here ans would be open to returning to try their other offerings.

This is my favorite local café. Great service, beautifully decorated inside and out. Both the coffee and tea are good too.
