The breakfast burritos are bomb.

My husband and I are so sad to hear that The Menu has closed its doors forever :( :( This is the first spot he took me for a breakfast date back in 2015. He loved right across the street at AVA at the time, so we would eat & have mimosas a few times a month. Wish we had gotten one more chance to sit down and eat before they closed -- thanks for the memories & delicious food, the Menu!

Looks like it is out of business now. Ate next door this morning.

Sadly, this PB breakfast institution closed its doors for good yesterday after being in business since the 1970s. I paid a final visit last week for lunch, and the place was nearly empty. It doesn't appear The Menu was able to recover the volume of customers it had before the pandemic struck which ultimately led to the decision to pull the plug. A new branch of a local chain ramen shop will be inheriting the vacated suite. The offerings were typical of an old school diner. I can only imagine how seasoned the grills were from cooking up eggs, omelettes, pancakes, waffles, etc over the past several decades. One page listed the weekday specials and with my luck, the steak & eggs were on discount that day. A 6 oz top sirloin was served with two eggs (any style) and two sides. I asked for the meat to be cooked medium rare with sunny side up eggs. Country potatoes and a biscuit & gravy were my sides. In this environment, it was hard to believe you can order such a loaded meal at a price of only $11.99. The steak, eggs, and potatoes were served on an oval plate with a small container of pico de gallo. The biscuit & gravy were on a separate dish and to me, they were the star of the show. The biscuit was soft and moist which many breakfast places fail to master. The white gravy was smooth and creamy. Had I known the biscuit was that good, I would have ordered two of them as my sides instead of the country potatoes as one of the choices. Thank you to David as well as the previous owners of The Menu for your service to the Crown Point neighborhood of PB over the years. Best of luck to the staff and I hope you all have a successful transition to your next life endeavor.

Just got brunch here with a couple of friends and the food/service was great. Laid back vibe and lots of menu items to choose from. I got the Machaca with a biscuit & gravy and potatoes. Prices were really reasonable for the portion sizes and quality.

I accidentally left my purse on the outside seating ~ the staff saved it for me; and the owner opened early the next day, for me to pick it up. Priceless!!!The Benny’s are yummie too ?

We came here pretty close to closing time and they still sat us. Food and drinks were absolutely delicious in a delightfully no frills kind of way. Will definitely be back and would highly recommend to anyone looking for great breakfast food!

It is an average breakfast. Very convenient if you are in the zone and need to get a good breakfast. Nice service and they serve fast. Reasonable prices.

This place really doesn't look like much and the pictures really don't do it justice. If you are in the mood for some good time breakfast diner food, this is your spot now. You're welcome.

This place has flat out great prices for being a little hole in the wall. More if a family environment here but the workers were very nice and we received great service even with a massive group. There's a bar right next door if you want to eat breakfast then have more of a bar scene. They do sell beer and champagne here though. The breakfast tacos were also very good. A lot of us went with that dish and left very satisfied.

This place is a gem. We were seated right away, got coffee - actually good coffee - very soon after that, and didn't have any issues with slow service or incorrect orders. The meal choices all sounded good and each one our table had was delicious.

This place is honestly so underrated. I have been here about 5 times and every time has been great. Staff is amazing and so quick and friendly. Food is perfect every time. Don't let the simple decor fool you this place is a perfect breakfast stop. Make your own sandwich and chilaquiles are my absolute favorite from here.

Even though their short on staff they still manage to serve us with a smile and positive attitude no matter how crazy it is.

Please don't bother coming here. I pass by every day so I wanted to try to place. I ordered eggs Benedict. They were overcooked. They brought them back and the eggs were ok, but the sauce was really bad, lumpy and without flavor. bacon was cold and dry. I generally eat anything, but this was impossible to eat. My girlfriend had eggs and chorizo with a side of potatoes and beans. potatoes were old, dry and burned. Beans didn't taste like anything. I'm really sorry to leave a bad review because people who worked there seemed nice, but you shouldn't serve any of this. Never coming back.
