Miss this place, it was simple and Sue was a great owner who knew how to run this no nonsense simple local bakery franchise selling pastries from Bakers of Paris which also closed. Once she sold this it never was the same. If they ever plan to open another bakery hopefully it will cater to the neighborhood, school kids and those coming come home during commute time. Why have a bakery open a from 8-2pm? Maybe that's why other bakeries on this area do well. It may have expanded with pretty Eiffel Tower painting on walls, the pastries just not as attractive as they once were. Not sure if they even sold day old pastries or half price during closing time. Those hole in wall bakeries in past were always so classic and good. Sorry for very Late review, but better late than never.

This place has recently re-opened under new management. Our family love their Raisin Swirl (made by Baker of Paris, of course) but for the past few days, we did not have much luck in getting this favorite (either not delivered yet, sold out, or only one left!). So we wind up having to order lots in advance. I know the store is new, but its young manager needs to act fast to keep customers happy and satisfied, or they may drift away. Best wishes!

This coffee has recently opened under a new management. Excellent quality coffee. Five star service and do not forget to ask about the daily special. My dad tried the world renowned Mille Feuille and it is amazing.

I used to go here after my dental appt for something to eat. I don't think they bake on the premises. They bought baked goods somewhere. This is also not an affiliate of the wholesale Bakers of Paris company out in Brisbane. They are closed now. Store is gutted.

I used to stop at Bakers of Paris just to buy a baguette. The only other place I could buy Bakers of Paris baguettes is the Safeway on 7th Ave. I bought a baguette as recently as the second week of February at Bakers of Paris. Now I was told by the Banh Mi sandwich shop next door that the owners of Bakers of Paris closed the store. It seems that all the businesses I like to go to are all closing. I went to Lumberland and they closed. I went to Lowes in So. San Francisco and they closed. Post Net closed but I can still pick up packages from Global Express, the new store that took over the space.

Definitely do not recommend this place! First off, their service was terrible. I went in around noon & their hours outside stated they were open starting at 830AM & went I walked in they said they were closed? Clearly, they did not want to serve me & i actually caught one of the girls rolling her eyes. Also, their coffee is trash. I ordered an iced latte & it was super watered down.

Terrible Service. I went mid-day and there was just a few things in the case like a few croissants, couple pastries and palmiers. When I walked in there was a lady standing waiting to order. Who knows how long she was standing there. A guy walked in behind me. The guy actually got to order before the lady or myself. That is rude seeing he was there last. He ordered a sandwich and went to the left and disappeared. So Im not sure if they had a room in the back. The lady as finally able to order and the employee disappeared. The customer wanted to make sure that they don't put something on her sandwich. The employee didn't reappear for about 6 minutes. The customer let her know to leave certain things off and employee disappeared yet again. The employee did not even acknowledge me. I just wanted a dang palmier. I waited about 14-16 minutes and said screw it and left.

I walked in just now to get a cup of coffee and a sandwich. In the middle of taking my order the old woman behind the counter interrupted me to take the order of the man who walked in shortly after me. I suppose they've got the French manners down at least... actually no. Not even French people are this rude. Guess I know why it's completely empty every time I've been in before.

The best Palmiers I've ever found in the City. Great service, great staff. I've been coming here for 28 years.
