November 2024: Stopped by for dinner and tried the Kreutzberger which is a hot link sausage with coleslaw, sweet peppers, and brown mustard. I got the 3 item special with Berliner potato salad and chips. The sausage was great. Lots of heat from the hot link. I also tried the pistachio cake which was very tasty ?.
We brought the food next door to Tornado. Food went very well with the ?.
Service was friendly. Would definitely come back again for more delicious food!

I've been going to this place for a long time and it never disappoints. The food is delicious and cheap, especially for SF. The service is amazing and so is the atmosphere. There are so few authentic sausage and burger places in SF.

Its run by an older german woman that gives you the most authentic german food I have ever tasted. She does all of the cooking and day to day herself, and still cooks incredible food. I love coming here both for the food and the service.
