Lovely-looking Italian place in the heart of Fisherman's Wharf. We didn't eat here, though the food we saw served to others looked good, and not too overpriced. Nice vibe from the place but for us personally the service was a bit lacking. Waited an age to be given a menu or even be acknowledged, then 20 seconds after receiving a menu a waiter was there wanting to take our order. I asked for a minute and then he never came back ? ...eventually another waiter took our order. We decided on a draft Blue Moon which is always refreshing. We enjoyed our drink, paid, and then left!

The Fisherman's platter was really indulgent and has great portions. I enjoyed the ambiance here, it wasn't too loud to have a conversation - convenient location too.

We started with the appetizer of chili shrimp and calamari which was a one person serving. When the shrimp and calamari is cooked up it is shrank to very smalll pieces. The cioppino dish we ordered for $48 USD was definitely not worth the money. The shrimps and calamari was tiny just like the appetizer dish and you get one small piece of dungeoness crab. Overall the two dishes we had was overpriced and taste and experience was very average. Not a restaurant we would recommend when visiting San Francisco for just 3 days unfortunately.

This being in SF's tourist spot center, did not expect food to be mediocre. I have had cioppinno better than that.

This is a great restaurant for good food at Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco. There is no view of the bay, but there is plenty of indoor seating. We started with Garlic Bread to share. Our table got a combination pizza to share, then also the Scampi Linguini, and soup and salad combos. All the food was quite tasty. And our server, Julio, was awesome.

Watched the Superbowl and sat at the bar. Great bartender, good drinks and conversation.
Nice. The food is good, expensive like everything else in Sfo. The atmosphere seemed better in the photos, but oh well.

We happened upon this restaurant a year ago. Rode our bikes from the Presidio, had no plans on where to eat and just ended up here. Had the red snapper fish and chips mostly, and the Alfredo pasta. It was GOOD. Very good. Enjoyed it very much.A year or so later, ended up back in this area, looking for somewhere to eat, and this place just happened to be handy again. Had the chicken club, fish taco's, burger and meatball pasta dish with garlic bread. Yum.Got a table both times right away. Very nice service folks - friendly. Spacious seating - the tables are nicely spaced apart which is super rare and appreciated.Very happy to have happened upon this place and coincidently ate there again yesterday. Thank you Cioppino's.

This was a recommendation from a friend and local gift shop. Not sure how I feel about Italian and seafood eatery being mixed. It was a nice atmosphere but our server didn't understand English, so there was a language barrier. We ordered the CLAM CHOWDER BREAD BOWL, ROASTED SHELLFISH MEDLEY, SIGNATURE DISH CIOPPINO, & LINGUINI & MEATBALLS. Lots of food but the linguini & meatballs could have used some more sauce. Overall, SF is a lovely place to explore.

Very average for the price. Seafood fettuccine was ok but not spectacular, considering the 30$ tag.
