Magical bar located in the legendary Westin St. Francis in the heart of Union Square, San Francisco. I stopped by prior to attending a gala in the city for a quick drink to get the buzz going. I ordered an Aperol Spritz with a "splash" of vodka (no preference on type). I sat at the bar and enjoyed the drink while it was getting crowded around 6:30pm. The bartender was great and I chilled for about an hour prior to going back to my hotel and ordering my taxi. I felt as if I was transported to New York City, NY but I was in San Francisco, CA. It was a great experience and I would recommend this bar to anyone staying at the Westin St. Francis- be sure to add it to your itinerary.

Staying at the hotel arrived at 11:31 they would not let us have even a single beer, super rude, not polite unreasonable service. Google says open till 12. Hotel guest, GM did not care….

I tried Clock Bar while staying at the Westin and I was initially excited from pictures but I was not overly impressed once I went there. The cocktails are a whopping $25 and I get it it's a hotel bar in california but I didn't find my cocktail was $25 worth. I knew the prices prior and still went so that wasn't my main issue. The bar had a very odd scent when I visited. My co worker described as a college frat party smell... Overall, everything is visually pleasing. The menu is interesting, they have food ( I didn't try it but looked good), and our server was so sweet and helpful.

I expected a lot more. Uncomfortable seating and awkwardly small tables. And no desert wines or ports? It's good as a central meeting spot, not for hanging out.

Didn't order any food. Enjoyed very much the atmosphere and the service. We had a pleasant experience.

This is a nice bar that's in the lobby The service is wonderful and the food is pretty good. K had the loaded potato latkes trio & it was delicious. It has a lice sitting for CD and the ambience is wonderful.

Best cocktails in the area. Staff is awesome and they remember my drink every time I come in. I can go months and even a year and they still remember me and my order. I stay at the Westin when I'm in San Francisco just for the Clock Bar.

Very cute bar area in the Westin SFO. Great place to come for drinks, a first date or just somewhere to kill time. I ordered the cosmopolitan which was delicious.

Everything was mediocre. The burgers, the martinis, the atmosphere. Not terrible, but no good reason to come here either. Way overpriced. The service was fine. We only came because other places in the neighborhood were full and we didn't feel like walking. We should have walked.

Looking for a dim-lit haven to unwind and indulge in some seriously strong drinks? Look no further! Clock lounge, a swanky little hotel bar in the heart of San Francisco is the perfect spot for an unforgettable evening out. Picture this, the soft glow of dim lighting, the clinking of glasses, and the buzz of conversation. Clock bar is the place to be for those seeking a unique and unforgettable experience. And let's not forget about the drinks! They take pride in serving up the strongest concoctions in town that will truly get you going. Now, I won't lie, the prices aren't for the lighthearted, but trust me, it's worth every penny. So, why wait? Go to Clock and unleash your inner night owl and indulge at your own risk...

Expensive drinks, be prepared. The cocktails are unique, difficult to make a choice as there are many ingredients. But we enjoyed our time here.

I used to work at the now closed ENO Wine Bar; which was also run under the same management group that had St. Francis Hotel, under its roof. As could normally be anticipated from a similar wine bar, we surely had reasonably priced wine by the glass options; say within the $12 - $15 range; where in Clock Bar; the options for comparable wine by the glass would be offered thrice the ENO price. Regardless, and despite the flyers of ENO placed as a solid marketing effort literally in every single bedroom of the hotel; we would still struggle to attract half as much of the crowd as Clock Bar would on average; which to me always translated as their environment's very capacity to provide their guests with an instant lift on their mood; where ONE would automatically feel like; ** "DECENCY here's a must; this ain't LOOK like no room for lust." kinda thing; whereas OURs was just a casual thing!.. ** Occasionally after my shifts, some of my good regulars would personally offer me to carry on with the sweet conversation which we had found to be quite fulfilling - And if I'm really lucky that night, even esoteric - to continue in Clock Bar; where instantaneous joy never felt unattainable to anybody; for how the staff's kindness in communication on top of the classiness of the entire room spoiled everybody by adding tremendous value to their promise which is fulfilled in the form of SERVICE. This bar, to me, has the very impression of a room which, a MAN like Abraham Lincoln, Mustafa Kemal Ataturk or Mr. Crowley would not be hard to be convinced to come in and enjoy a glass of High Rye; NO WONDER WHY!..

Often times when going to a hotel, the hotel bar is nothing to remember. Formulaic, stale, run of the mill…yada yada yada! So it’s refreshing when you discover a place like The Clock Bar at the Westin St. Francis in San Francisco at Union Square. They know how to make their drinks! Mixologists? Sure. But what stands out is they take pride in the most basic cocktails. Take their Bombay Sapphire Martini with a lemon twist, extra-dry: perfectly cold and dry with a hint of lemon. Yes believe it or not it was fantastic! And that defines a true bartender: one who can hold a disussion but takes care to make sure that cocktail is perfect. Nothing rushed, just lots of TLC. When there, ask for Steve. If he’s bartending you’re in good hands!

Great bar to grab a quick drink & snack. It does get busy & can be hard to grab a spot though.
