When I'm lucky enough to be at the Ferry Building at the same time they are, I overdo it and get too many so I can try new ones every time. Always worth it. I think the simple ones might be the best except the days when the elaborate ones are. Can't go wrong.
Donut Farm, formerly Pebbles Donut Farm, was established in 2006 by Josh Levine, a San Francisco native who is a lifelong music enthusiast and activist. Excellent vegan donuts, inside the ferry building near the pier/ Lots of options, I bought a variety, they all tasted great. A little pricey, $3 per vegan donut, great service. By contrast Whole Foods has 6 vegan donuts for $10. Much better value
