No way! Biggest waste of money ever . Will never come back. I could not believe the taste of+ quality of food for this price tag, it is completely unjustifiable. Biggest example of how fine dining can be corrupted by greed. Terrible, awful, don’t waste your money here. Ambience is cool and service is good, only reason it gets two star.

Great experience overall, do take note that if you want to experience real Chinese spicy&numbing food, you would need to let the chef know beforehand. Also there were some small flies flying around the table.

We had a great time eating here. Everything was executed very well. The "nine essential flavors" dish was amazing and stood out in it's creativity and presentation. Would have loved a few more bites of some flavors. Overall a great way to pamper ourselves with some elevated Chinese cuisine.

Beautiful restaurant with thoughtful staff but the food certainly does not justify the price. A great concept but everything we had was extremely sour.
Went for SF Restaurant Week and was absolutely blown away by the food, service, and the interior design that elevated the experience all together. I’m definitely coming back!

There's a reason why i booked this place twice during restaurant week. It's AMAZING. All the servers are so attentive and the food is delicious. Everything is perfectly balanced (not too salty) and seasoned to perfection.

We arrived on time for our 9 pm reservation and was finally seated at 9:45 pm after many follow ups. We sat for another 10 min before someone came to greet us, by now almost 10 pm and I was starving. There were at least 6 different staff walking pass us so not short staffed. Food was top quality and innovative but very small portion. We spent over 400 and still wanted to go some place else to eat after. The entry was hidden and interesting to follow instructions sent by staff how to get there.

Everyone has a different palette but I think there's something for everyone here.Logistics: account for parking if you're not familiar with the areaCourses: Long TastingFood: Excellent. Several highlights but the dessert was exceptional. The dumpling was mid. Everything else was excellent. Spicy in soy milk? Amazing.Price: POV: you're in SF in the year of our dear lord and savior 2024. You have a base meal, gratuity, tip, and tax. If you want the Eight Tables experience, go. Was it worth it? Sure.Overall: Good pick. Recommended.

The staff was absolutely excellent and made this experience truly special! The dishes were all really unique and you could tell the kitchen put a lot of time and thought into making them. Definitely pricey, but we felt the service and unique dishes were well worth it.

From the moment we were welcomed into the elevator until the moment we collected our coats, we felt like valued guests. Every step of the way, the service was warm, attentive and professional. The food was, of course, quite excellent. My favorite was the Cold Noodle with fresh soy milk, sea urchin and sesame. But the high point of the experience was the sommelier - who was actually interested in what we liked and varied his pourings from the normal pairing menu to match our tastes. Highly recommended. I look forward to returning.

Food is good, but below my expectation, with the same price I think Mr Jiu has better food. The service is really good!
