Great Gold

We've ordered delivery twice from Great Gold and found the food to be amazing. If you've had great red sauce Italian in New York or New Jersey and missed it in SF, this is the real deal. Things we loved: Chicken parm - pounded thin, huge, and crispy on the outside. Lasagna bolognese, caesar salad, focaccia, meatballs, tiramisu - all exactly what we were craving and delicious.Everything was packaged really well and arrived hot. Get the bucatini all'amatriciana! I came here with my friends for dinner and we ordered the bucatini all'amatriciana, ravioli, and radiatori. All of the pasta dishes were yummy but we came to a consensus that the BUCATINI was the winner out of the pastas we tried. The bucatini has guanciale, red sauce, and burrata in it. We ordered another one because it was soooo good and we devoured it quickly. I would love to come back and try their other pasta dishes.

It was one of the last date nights before coronavirus. I have to say, their food was good, but the ambiance was pretty nice. They had a good selection of wine and its a solid, solid place. The best part of the meal was their foccacia bread with the sauce. FML A little pricey, but goddamn it was good. Cant wait to go back again and enjoy a full bottle of wine and chill. I hope they survive the 'rona.
